About this listen

It is April 1, 2038. Day sixty of China's blockade of the rebel island of Taiwan.

The US government has agreed to provide Taiwan with a weapons system so advanced, it can disrupt the balance of power in the region.

But what pilot would be crazy enough to run the Chinese blockade to deliver it?

Aggressor is the first novel in a new series that looks at the conflict that could spark the next World War, through the eyes of soldiers, sailors, civilians, and aviators on all sides. Featuring technologies that are on the drawing board today and could be fielded in the near future, Aggressor is the military technothriller you have been waiting for!

The adventures of Bunny O’Hare are great and this one doesn’t disappoint. It is more than a novel it includes great analysis of the current situation in Taiwan.

This is one of those books that I wish Hollywood would pick up. Bunny is the female Australian Maverick. I can imagine someone like Emily Blunt playing her.

the war seniareo presented could happen. the summary at the end is perhaps more accurate than we "want" to believe. very few people actually want war, but it always happens. in the case of Thailand, it's China's "honor" they can't get over. my personal problem and feelings of all the ears and fighting throughout the world is "why can't you just let others have their own beliefs and you be happy with yours? " get over it

theory and speculation on technology.

A bunch of unnecessary information in the storyline makes it boring and hard to listen to. Too much time and unnecessary info building up to the combat scenes, then they are over without much happening. This is I think the 3rd or 4th book I’ve listened to with the Bunny O’Hara character, and even with that it’s making me hate this book. Books about War and Combat should mostly focus on WAR AND COMBAT. A little bit of extra is ok, adds to the story, but too much takes away from the war storyline and military aspect of the book. Thought this would be a promising series, but not sure I’ll make it through this 1st book, let alone the rest. Disappointed big time!
