About this listen

Peyton Gloss is the world's most famous and popular singer and songwriter, known for her chart-topping hits as well as her famous girl squad and July 4th events, inviting all of her famous friends to celebrate. This year, she did something even more extravagant than ever and invited her friends to join her for a week-long adult summer camp experience.

Mackenzie Smyth dared to audition for a TV show. Thinking she had no chance of getting the part, she went along with it. Five years later, she's one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood. She's also socially awkward and struggles with getting to know new people and spending time with her peers.

Lennox Owen is Hollywood royalty and has been famous since birth. She's remained in the business because she didn't know what else, if anything, she could do, and because it was what was expected of her.

When Lennox and Kenzie meet, there's electricity between them. And the camp is the perfect opportunity for them to explore what might be. But after the magic of their week away from the world dissipates, can they still find that spark and make their relationship work?

Contains mature themes.

Swooning for the series!

This was a great follow-up to "No After You." I love that we get to catch up with Peyton and Dani. I also love that it starts at an adult summer camp - lots of fun!

Kenzie and Lennox were intense... in a good way! They were perfect for each other! However, their story was very angsty, but I really felt the emotions between them. It was hard for me to put this one down - I needed to see them through the end. Beautiful ❤️

What a love story!!!!!

This is one of my favorite listens. The story is amazing. I love that one of the main characters was on the autism spectrum. I love the title and how the story of it came about. Super fantastical love story!!!!

Sex scenes are Gold

Please do not listen to this story while in public. I was basically foaming at the mouth listening to this and I’m sure most people thought I was insane or extremely turned on. I don’t which is worse. The actual complexity that was explored of dating someone on the spectrum and offering something that is simple but often rare as acceptance was the cherry on top.

Great story and characters, well read

Great plot and characters, and it was well read. The descriptions of locations and clothing were a bit too dry and list-like, taking me out of the atmosphere, and could have used more integration with dialogue, thoughts, or plot. Otherwise I loved it and didn't want it to end!

loved it!

I loved it! it was sweet patient and kind. The love between the two characters was raw and it felt very real even though they were involved in show biz as a career choice. They just grew together perfectly!

The Drama

The overall book was great . But the character Mackenzie drove me absolutely insane. I almost stopped listening because of the way this character was acting. But again overall story was great.

All the Love Songs

Love how well written. Especially how they write about Mckenzie is with Autism and how Lennox understands someone with Autism and doesn't rush a good thing.
