I saw Tagan on a GCLS panel in Albany. I was impressed with her answers and her wit so I bought this audiobook. I was not disappointed- the story is clever and charming but the voice with which it is told is outstanding. I really enjoyed this book!

Liv and Riley meet at a queer con and have an instant attraction. Liv is committed to her family, taking care of her little sister and ailing grandfather, still living at home. Riley is a social media journalist hoping to breakthrough into show writing and magazines. The story of their relationship is sexy and interesting as they navigate family commitments, career disappointments and triumphs and the usual relationship issues.

This was super cute...I love geeky, fan-girl romances🥰

Riley and Olivia are quite the pair! When they first meet and start to get to know each other, the connection and chemistry are just WOW! But I think their third act breakup is where the story (writing) is brilliant. The author made me want their split - like I believed they're not suited for each other. Both of them needed to do some soul searching. Then, when they get back together... I actually was rooting for them again! Talk about roller-coaster!
