Publisher's summary

When waiting for your chance in life, in order to change that life, you must be careful with your desires. The system can provide you the opportunity. It's just a pity that the chances of survival are so low.

Varg has been granted his chance at a new life, but will he be up to it? Can he cope with the pressure of that chance? New enemies, friends, and problems will be along soon. It remains only for Varg to figure out who he fears most: his enemies, or his friends.

Awesome

Great continuation of the story, the MC gets stronger and develops a more intimate connection with the girls and somewhat grows emotionally because of it, honestly I think it's funny how all of the people are kinda scared of Paulina? (don't know if that's how you spell her name). and the story it's not just about ending zombies since we see more of what the system is capable and teases about a possible otherworldly ally coming to earth and that cliffhanger was really good left me wanting for more!

Very good book

Solid pacing, good character progress. Interesting scenarios and growth of the character. Left on a solid cliffinger. Loving the story overall and the way how the main character sees the world..

Good book, but too short.

Too short to be worth a credit book 1 and 2 should be one credit.
But it is very good, just short. I give it 5 stars becouse i liked the story and the narrator that part is 5 stars and that what they ask about.

Excellent so far

Well, so far this series has been fairly impressive. Plus, it seems to be moving in unexpected directions and with so many system apocalypse stories out there. This is a refreshing change.

Love it!!

The story line is great. The system in this story is awesome. I can’t wait for book 3. The series has been amazing all on its own. But add great narration as this does so well. That it leads me to believe the series will be nothing short of epic.

Similar to first book

Much like book one. MC is not really a sociopath but antisocial with some social anxiety and with a virgin mentality. He’s cocky and generally a compensating jerk. Still generally sexist with extremely weak female characters. Will probably skip book 3 and more from this author.

Decent gap fill

I kinda fell out of love this book. I will wait a bit before returning. It is more of the same but less of the good stuff. Romance/harem stuff isn’t my bag and the darker tones just feel light grey
