NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

There can be no surrender.
There will be no mercy.
It’s not just the future of the galaxy at stake—
It’s the destiny of the Force.

In the stunning finale of the epic Fate of the Jedi series, Jedi and Sith face off—with Coruscant as their battlefield. For the Sith, it’s the chance to restore their dominance over the galaxy that forgot them for so long. For Abeloth, it’s a giant step in her quest to conquer all life everywhere. For Luke Skywalker, it’s a call to arms to eradicate the Sith and their monstrous new master once and for all.

In a planetwide strike, teams of Jedi Knights take the Sith infiltrators by swift and lethal surprise. But victory against the cunning and savage Abeloth, and the terrifying endgame she has planned, is anything but certain. And as Luke, Ben, Han, Leia, Jaina, Jag, and their allies close in, the devastating truth about the dark side incarnate will be exposed—and send shock waves through the Jedi Order, the galaxy, and the Force itself.

Good as I hoped

Where does Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was one of the better books I listened to and one of the top ones in the fate of the jedi series.

What about Marc Thompson’s performance did you like?

What was there not to like about Marc's performance, he does it again.

Great book but

I enjoyed this book very much but I did feel that between this one and the previous one there was a bit a story that was lost the story concludes excellently it's well-written well told.

Great series

This is more of a review for the entire series rather then just this one book.

I found the entire story quite well done and that the different authors did a great job keeping everything flowing. I enjoyed it quite well and found the banter between Luke and Ben to be a fun playful relief when everything seems to be falling apart around them yet father and son can still be a father and son, learning from one another, disagreeing with one another, and playing/jesting with one another.

This series also shows how weak the force users of this time have become both Sith and Jedi are compared to the Old republic. Now not every Jedi has every force ability. Unlike in the old republic where Satele Shan survived a fall from near orbit heights onto Coruscant while holding on to another person and getting away with some light bruises and scrapes. Now Jedi and Sith can hardly do a 10 meter jump or landing, I believe they mention this in the first or 2nd book I listened to them all back to back so can't quite remember. Not saying this is a bad things but its quite different from the generations before.

The ending of this book and by that I mean the last 2 minuets or so drove me bonkers haha. Classic leave you guessing and wanting more. With that don't hold your breath on more coming any time soon though. With Disney taking over the next series to follow this has been canceled :(

Solid conclusion

An action-packed, entertaining end to a satisfying series. Many of the scenes had exceptionally good sound effects and production value and Thompson always delivers - savor it!

Empty?

I'm at odds......the story was incredible but the ending of climax seemed like a lifetime movie, meaning that I expected more of a finality of things. But the narrative was great and there were plenty of closed subjects yet many more uncertainty left on the table.
