worth a listen

The stories are all pretty enjoyable. Although I expect there are some issues translating

A really rough performance

Fantastic stories, poorly edited performance. Repeated sentences are not uncommon. Sometimes the narrator tries out a different style for a given character but then changes his mind, and no one caught this and edited it out. The collection is still worth it, but wow this is probably the sloppiest audible read yet.

Good stories, poor recording

I wanted to hear some of the original stories after watching the Netflix series. The stories are great, but the performance and recording made them difficult to follow. For example, the volume was not balanced well at all, I was constantly having to turn down the volume during the introduction music at the begining of each story, and then turn it back up to hear dialogue, which made a poor listener experience in my opinion.

Audio, production, and pronunciation problems

Audio problems on Cloud Player

Production problems: gaps, echoes, and unedited retakes in recording

Too many mispronunciations of common words, even English words. Actor otherwise not bad, if a bit unprofessional

Love the Narrator, but some strange recording errors throughout

Paul Spera does a great job bringing the stories to life with his narration.there are some strange repeats of sentences or small sections. As if he needed a second take, and the editors did not remove the other take.

A Disappointment

I found this book hard to listen to, although interesting as a book. I will be looking for another option...

Many awkward stops and pauses

Good voice on narrator. But inattention by the audio editor makes this file unlistenable. Am wanting my credit refunded.

poor editing destroys the story

these stories are amazing fun! it is too bad the editing of this particular recording is so poor. there are extended pauses throughout this performance that constantly break the spell of these great stories.
