About this listen

USA Today bestselling author Ward Larsen's globe-trotting, hard-hitting assassin, David Slaton, returns for another breathless adventure, Assassin's Mark.

With the help of CIA operative David Slaton, America has shaken off a series of high-tech attacks. Then, just as the threat seems to have receded, the most brazen strike of all: Marine One is brought down in the heart of the capital. The president survives the crash, but is clinging to life by a thread.

Once again, Slaton gets the call. With limitless backing from the CIA, the agency’s most lethal assassin is dispatched halfway around the world. But as his mission nears completion, he finds himself targeted by a talented adversary, a ruthless young assassin who moves like a ghost, and whose motives are unclear.

What is clear is that Trident is not yet finished, and that there is a high-level traitor in the U.S. government. And the only way forward is to topple a conspiracy in the uppermost echelons of Washington.

Another great David slaton story

was a good book. well-written story, although I would like to have seen him tie in the two women from Hong Kong a little more and not leave it the way he did. but other than that, excellent book.

Yet another superb offering from Ward Larsen, this latest David Slaton book is engaging and at times riveting. The plot is rich and well developed as are all of the characters.

1 complaint. The next book isn’t ready right now

Great choice all around. Narration is well done. Story is interesting. Not over the top, with fake unrealistic things happening. Seams like it could happen in real life. Keeps you wondering and thinking throughout.

Fast moving

Good twists but have no clue as to how they concluded that the VP was the traitor

If you’re a fan…

Then you will love this as much as I did. One unique thing about this series is our main guy is a normal average type guy without any ego. Not ultra serious like some of the others in his genre, which is refreshing and probably much more realistic. The innovation shown is also very cleaver. As usual, narration was superb.
