About this listen

Forgiveness allows open wounds to heal properly, and the scar left behind serves as a reminder, the memory of the event. Without forgiveness, the wound remains open for many individuals, often lasting a lifetime. This open wound continues to hurt, and over time, it fills with filth and foulness. It becomes infected, affecting the way we make decisions going forward.

The absence of forgiveness is like the chains that keep a person shackled to the wall of pain. Forgiveness releases us from that wall. While we may still carry the marks on our wrists and ankles from those chains, they are merely that—marks, memories, evidence that we were once prisoners, but today we soar free. The power of forgiveness is a healing force (from the preface written by Oscar Sande, Australia).
