Publisher's summary

The worst day of my life happened when Brandon died.

We had our entire future mapped out.

Careers, marriage, kids - in that order.

Then the universe threw a curveball and ended it all.

As I come to terms with everything, I learn that I’m carrying his baby. Now I’m living with his roommate, the guy who’s made my life a living hell the past two years. Hunter’s now the one to hold me up when all I want to do is fall.

Knowing my religious parents will never accept the pregnancy out of wedlock, Hunter offers to be my fake husband. While I think he’s gone crazy, it’s the only plan that’ll keep them in my life. So I do whatever it takes to make our relationship believable - kissing, touching, even letting him hold me when we sleep. The lines are so blurred neither of us want to admit we’re no longer pretending.

The guilt of what we’re doing eats me alive as I struggle to deal with my emotions. I push him away, but he pulls me closer, showing me how he’s always felt.

Just as I begin to follow my heart, I learn Hunter’s been keeping secrets. And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life....

Awesome read!

I'm so impressed by the writing of Kennedy Fox.
This book held my attention from beginning to end. My only complaint is that the end seems like a cliff hanger. I don't like those. I do hope the story line continues in the next book? Nothing bothers me like unanswered questions! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LADIES!

SOOO good!!! 😀

SOOOO good!!! 😀 Okay, I did NOT like the way Hunter acted towards Lennon through the first-half of the 1st book AT ALL, and just because Brandon “stole” Lennon from him before he could ask her out, no. All seemed a little bit pity, if you ask me. Even though I can understand why he acted like that; still no . . . BUT, then after Brandon’s death, Hunter did a completely 180!! Ah, my heart!! ❤️ He became sweet, caring, & lovingly LITERALLY overnight!! And when he told her that he’d care for Lennon & the baby, even though the baby wasn’t even his!! He really became that baby’s father, too!! 🥰😍 The only thing that I didn’t really like that much was Hunter’s sudden ability to have children. That seemed a little too unrealistic to me. I would have liked it much more if he still couldn’t have children & they would have just adopted. After all, there are still plenty of ways to have a family & lots of children need lovingly homes. ❤️

Lennon and Hunter 😍😍😍

I was searching for a new sires to read and omg!! I'm so happy I came across this one! Such beautiful writing and amazing characters!! Baby Mine was included in the Audible Plus program, but the books are not. So I've been buying each book in the Sieres not being the least bit disappointed!! I'm on book 3 now which is Sophie, Lennon's sister and her love interest, Mason. I'm loving this author!! Having to read more by her as soon as I'm finished with this Sieres!!

Eye-rolling, ridiculous scenario

Starts out confusing, it needed a prologue desperately. By the third chapter, I was rolling my eyes at the ridiculous plot. Forced myself to solder on in hopes it would improve. This story spirals downward to duplicitous lies in every direction with inane hopeful expectations. Best thing about this book is the excellent narration.
