Narrators Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley always a treat. This is probably my favorite story out of all the Winston brothers books. This has been the only book I could find so far with a survivor of DV finding love again. It’s a mature grown up, self assured love.
Only thing about it is you do really need to get through 3 books before it (“Beard Science”, “espionage and engagement” and “murder and marriage”) but all three of those books are great too so worth it.

I love everything Penny Reid writes. She's got such a great writing style.
I particularly enjoyed this book because in the previous books in this series you're introduced to Diane and Repo/ Jason and they're characters that at you want to hate, but you really can't because you just KNOW there's more to their stories. I'm utterly delighted that she wrote their story and I hope it gives you a many feelings as it gave me.

Oh this was such a great story and so many unexpected teary moments lol but I was happy with the ending being left unresolved. Other than that everything about this story was heated and heartbreaking sweet all while maintaining your total attention the whole way through.
