About this listen

Rose Sinclair counts through life in sixes. It's how she gets by when she's not in the company of her best friend and Tourette's sufferer, Laurie, or focusing on her busy work schedule as the personal assistant and office manager for the extremely attractive and extremely married, Ezra Conti. Everything has a place and Rose likes it that way. It must be that way. But even her quirks aren't enough to keep her in her lane and away from temptation. No matter how hard she tries to fight a detour in her life's perfect navigation system. She doesn't like-like her boss. Not one bit. He belongs with his wife, and Rose...Rose belongs by his side.

Awesome book!

One of the best books I have listened to all year. Even though the author takes on a very taboo subject... infidelity. A.E Murphy does an amazing job developing each of the main character’s stories and showing tremendous personal growth as the story progresses. In time she shows how their love for each other grows and matures. Developing the characters love for each other in a very organic manner. In time you begin to understand and sympathize with the characters infidelity; making it a much easier pill to swallow as the story progresses. It’s definitely one of those books that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish. You know a a book is well written when you being to laugh and cry with the characters. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A must listen

This was such a great audiobook. The narrator did a great job. I loved this story so much. I don’t usually do cheating stories but this situation was different and understandable. I adored these characters and felt every emotion they did. You need to listen to this book!

Loved It!!!

If you can get over the narrator’s lisp this book is soooo good!!! I LOVE a cheating romance book, BUT HATE Cheaters!!! I always love how this story line gives you so much angst and drama and still give an HEA! ! I love this genre by seeing how each author deals with the cheating…. Even knowing what’s going to happen in this book the author kept you guessing on how it was going to end! I will definitely be listening to another by this author!

Mr. Conti.....

4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well I’m glad I didn’t read the negative reviews before I read Becoming his Mistresses, because if I had I wouldn’t have read it and I would’ve missed out on a good read.

A.E. Murphy is becoming one of my favorite Authors. I really enjoy her story’s and I love her writing style. She has you connecting with her characters as if they are real people. The chemistry between her hero’s and heroine’s are top notch and the sex scene are always scorching hot! 🔥🔥

I’m not going to give any spoilers away, you need to read the book if you want to know anything, but I will say the story is about cheating, if you didn’t already get that by the title of the book.
So warning if you don’t like cheating then this book isn’t for you. Because there’s no getting around that someone is going to get hurt.

Also this is a slow burn, so the story works it way up to the affair. No Instant screwing in this story. lol Which I enjoyed a lot. I like how you get to know both characters back stories and how their feelings grow for one another. It deals with real life situations and personally I feel like Ezra and Rose always knew what they were doing was wrong, and cared how it would effect the people they loved, but still couldn’t stop because of what they felt when they were together. It wasn’t like they were selfish and gave the “who the f#&* cares as long as we are happy vibe.”

They truly had remorse for their actions and at one point they really tried to stop.

Rose Sinclair was adorable and I loved her corks. Along with her friend Laurie’s… Omg I laughed out loud with her tics…This made for some interesting reading, but on other hand it was sad because it shows you how anxiety/OCD can effect people’s daily living. I think Rose was stronger then she gave herself credits for. Did she make some bad choices, yes she did, but people do when there blinded by love.

Mr. Conti aka Ezra was a passionate person and loved his family very much. So when he started to develop feelings for Rose it wasn’t something he acted on right away. He struggle with what he was feeling. He too made some bad choices, but it’s not like this situation happens everyday being in love with two women. I didn’t find this unbelievable like some people do. I think we are totally capable of loving two people. Why do people think your can’t? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Truth be told tho Ezra loves one with his whole heart and the other with his whole soul!

Needless to say…this story isn’t just about a older man wanting a younger women. It’s about connecting with someone’s soul and fitting together like a puzzle piece and just knowing its right!
I think A.E. Murphy did a wonderful job showing just that in Becoming his Mistresses.

Audiobook review: This was my first time listening to Aleksi Graves and I enjoyed her voice, but I will say there were some words that she pronounced weird. Her male voice tho was horrible and sounds like a creepy 80 year old man. She definitely needs to work on her man voice. So for that I gave her 4 stars.

AWEFUL NARRATOR

The narrator's grating voice is ruining this story for me. Her male voice makes the men in the story sound like creepy old witches. HORRIBLE!
