About this listen

What would you do to the man who killed your best friend?

A murder without a body. A murderer without a memory. John Jordan must determine whether Angel Diaz was murdered by her boyfriend after a magical night together or if he was wrongly convicted and who the real killer is.

January 16, 1999: It was a magical night for a group of high school seniors in Panama City, Florida. They listened to Maya Angelou read poetry. They danced. They celebrated life. By the time they noticed their friend Angel Diaz was missing, it was too late - she was never seen again.

Her boyfriend, convicted of her murder, has been in prison for 18 years. Their friends have never looked at each other the same way again.

Can John Jordan, mired in his own crises, solve the mystery of what happened that night and uncover the truth that has remained hidden so long, or will he fail, leading to more loss of lives?

Absolutely the worst performance by an audio reader in my 3 years of membership. Constantly repeating the same lines over and over. This might have been a decent listen if the narrator hadn't sucked.

Jason Betz is horrible
