April 10th, 1912: Titanic sails with a secret in her cargo hold....

When a pair of would-be robbers open a mysterious crate, they unleash an evil that’s been asleep for centuries. Once the maiden voyage is underway, passengers go missing, some turn up dead, and some bear an odd affliction, one that makes them crave blood and shun the light....

Assistant Surgeon Benjamin York makes a startling discovery about his patients that could be disastrous for everyone onboard. But Titanic is lauded as the pinnacle of luxury and class, so Benjamin is met with contempt when he suggests the passengers be warned they aren’t safe.

In the darkest corners of the ship, a coterie of monsters grows more powerful. The ocean liner’s only hope is reaching the safety of America, but can the passengers hope to survive that long? With Titanic in the throes of its late-night disaster—bent and broken, lifeblood seeping into the Atlantic—Doctor York realizes the icy water won’t be the only danger....

I will admit I was skeptical. I have always been fascinated with stories of the titanic and when you mix in the idea of mixing in vampires, I figured the history would be lost. I was pleasantly surprised. The story held pretty true to historical accounts. The character development was perfect and the storyline intriguing. If you’re looking for a nonstop, action packed, battles of humanity versus vampire this may not be the book for you. The story focuses around the vampires onboard but isn’t as bloody or horror filled as some typical vampire novels. However, I was hooked by the second chapter. Well worth the money and the time. I definitely enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Such a unique and engaging read!

Great read!

Narrator was ok. Not scary at all my 11 year old daughter listened with me. I like anything to do with the titanic and vampires so that’s a plus. Overall I liked it prefer if it was more horror but it was good story to share with my daughter who loves horror also.

Decent story

Never sure how I feel about vampire stories but this one blended a favorite topic of mine so I gave it a shot. Not super gory but enough to keep horror fans satisfied. Narrator was good for the most part, but I struggled to differentiate some of the characters. Glad I read this one!

Enjoyed it

I thought the story was pretty good. Titanic with a twist as someone else put it. However, the narrator was bland and monotone throughout much of the story.

Good Story, Monotone Narration

Historical fiction can be fun, and this is a good example why.

So many people, including myself, are fascinated with stories of the Titanic, both real stories and fictional ones. I’ve never considered the Titanic could be more of a horror story than it originally was, but this book explored a fun angle I never thought of—what if the Titanic were full of vampires?

Atmospheric and moody, I loved this story and the way it followed characters of different social classes to really give us an idea of what life was like for many different people on the Titanic.

I was captivated to the very end.

The narrator was clear and easy to listen to. The story was great and brought in many historical details. Great job!!

Awesome tale for the Titanic!

I wish I had read an ebook. The story is solid, characters are solid. The author interjects a very interesting premise into history. My problem is the narrator. When using a "narrator" voice, they seem dejected and completely detached from the story. The characters are voiced ok, but the narrator suffers when doing accents and keeping them straight and sometimes slips into character when narrating in the third person.

The story is solid

I was not expecting to get this much enjoyment out of this. The author clearly did their research on the setting. The voice and temperament given to Ismay make me want to strangle him (though I've wanted to do that since third grade anyway).

Was not expecting this

The concept was great, however the whole story was disjointed. I mean that some parts drag while other parts seem to gloss over important stuff. And the confrontation between Ben and the Master is zip, bang, done. Too easy. The narrator is awful. One of my pet peeves is having a narrator mispronounce words. She does this many times. Where was the editor?

Meshing of truth and fantasy was good, but…
