Publisher's summary

When a weakness of Valkyrie sight is uncovered, Kara, Kate and an unlikely ally, must race against time to stop a saboteur before Valhalla falls.

Arina copes with being a new type of Valkyrie and defies Odin while reminding the ruling caste what the ideals of the Asgard are and what they should all aspire to be. She must help a young Ragnarok, who was sent to die at the gates of Valhalla, to learn the truth about the Asgard and her own people.

Old enemies and lost friends weave a web that could spell the end for one of Odin's own.

Another great Voice over!

What made the experience of listening to Bloodlines: The Valkyrie Chronicles, Book 2 the most enjoyable?

Hmm.. the suspense! I mean I've read the book before and no matter how many times i have it still surprises me everytime! now especially with the voice over from Hollie Jackson. it was Perferct!

What did you like best about this story?

The Story well the all around play on Norse Myth... I've always loved ancient Myths! Norse, Greek, Roman... they all just sound to amazing. and who would've thought the great war god Odin was such a softie :D

Which character – as performed by Hollie Jackson – was your favorite?

in this book i would have to say Arina the Whispering Breeze! I love how she made Arina's voice so soft and mellow... as expected of The Innocent.

If you could take any character from Bloodlines: The Valkyrie Chronicles, Book 2 out to dinner, who would it be and why?

oh gosh... this is... like one of the hardest questions i have ever seen... uhh... if I pick Arina, Inatra might kill me or the very least maime me... I don't know about Kara or Kate though... uhh....i think... maybe... uhh... I'll pick Geiravor!! I hope Odin doesn't notice when he is in his scientist mode

Any additional comments?

another great book and voice over by Erik Schubach and Hollie Jackson. i have to say they make a great team :D

Fantastic second book.

I have been reading books by this author for some time and I have loved this series from the beginning. Holly really brings the characters to life. This story seems to be mainly based on learning and correcting past misconception as well as learning how to compromise to an extent.

Another great book by Erik and Hollie

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! Because it's fun and exciting.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Arina. She has such a sweet spirit.

Which scene was your favorite?

The stand of the sisters. Very very emotional.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You have to see it to believe it...

Any additional comments?

These books make me laugh and cry and sit on the edge of my seat more than any book has for a long time.

2nd Book in Valkyrie Chronicles one word FUN!

If you could sum up The Valkyrie Chronicles in three words, what would they be?

Tacky Funny Soap/Drama. Sorta of cheated on the last word. But the story is a little B-Movie Tacky yet amazingly FUN soap opera-ish Drama that pokes fun in it's own way at the whole genre while being tenderly interesting. Radclfyee good this is not. The woman in the story might get a kiss here or there and a funny passionate feeling there but there is not one real sex scene in this novel yet the whole thing is about a group of lesbian women saving the day for Asgar. There is even a few bits of mythology tossed in on the side but it remains a true science fiction story. Still it's a fun story and you find yourself liking these Valkyrie.

What did you like best about this story?

Mostly the parts that made me laugh because they where so tacky. The little lines about "but first I have to take care of my passionate mate Kate" And when Whispering breeze is recovering from near fatal wounds Cara or maybe it's Kate says to her "You can't die because if we were to take a third to our bed it would be you." Just off the wall lines that make it tacky but oh so fun to listen to, and have a good laugh.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the Ragnar girl claims the Whispering Breeze as her mate, or finally admits she wants her and is willing to fight of anyone who comes near her dying mate. It was a kind predictable scene but fun and funny.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

In the future where the earth is hopelessly out number and out gun, Earths only hope is a handful of Valkyrie who have landed Asgar on Earth to help out. OK TOO LONG, Short version Space Monster attack Earth but Earth is Saved by Valkyrie.

Any additional comments?

This a well written piece of fluff but it's fun fluff with lesbians in a positive light. It made me smile if not laugh. If you enjoyed the first book you will love the second but read/listen to the first one first.
