About this listen

From the New York Times best-selling author Michael Connelly, a short story featuring LAPD detective Harry Bosch and FBI agent Rachel Walling.

Two women have gone missing, and LAPD detective Harry Bosch has a strong suspicion that an avid fisherman named Denninger is the culprit. Bosch needs something stronger than a suspicion to bring Denninger in, but all he has are a handful of photos - prior mug shots and pictures of Denninger posing with his prize fish. It's not much to go on, and Bosch is running out of time, which is why he calls in FBI agent Rachel Walling. What she sees in these photos could blow his case wide open.

Titus Welliver is the best by far narrator of Michael Connellys stories! Lew Cariou second…

Nice touch using Titus to read this short. Well spoken narrator. Great descriptive story blending Bosch 1st person narrating story and Titus projecting the Bosch charater.

another great Bosch

Good to get a look into Bosch's life from days gone by. Learning of another Walling/Bosch team up is well worth the time. A nice little escape.

Complete Story in 15 minutes!

...but the story was too short! Could see another full novel about this. Soon, maybe?

Bosch and Walling together again...

Titus, in my opinion is the absolute best narrator bar none. But why so short?

WHY SO SHORT???

I enjoyed this short story. Maybe later Michael Connelly will write the longer version. Maybe the Fisherman had a partner, there are so many ways this story could go and we all know Harry Bosch is getting older and I fear that there wont be anymore stories about him; so maybe this is where the author can keep his character alive and active solving cases. I just love the Harry Bosch character and I would read any book with him in it no matter how short.

Connelly has a style that keeps the reader interested until the very end of the narrative.

Seems like a teaser. Probably wouldn’t have bought this one had i noticed it was so short.

Short

Great few paragraphs but not a book in any way. I now know to check length before buying a “book”.

Scam

This very short story felt like a chapter out of a Harry Bosch book. It only takes 17 minutes to listen. Mystery solved.
