Best story with a great duo to narrated this book.
The series was getting better and better and what a beautiful story to end this series.
I loved it. You could sense all the emotions of Holly and Jackson, it was perfect.

I honestly didn't think this would be my favorite Blades couple, but of course Maria proved me wrong. Jackson and Holly may have had a few bumps in the road, but they found their way back to each other in this second chance romance. The narrators did a fantastic job. I felt like I was in the story with the characters. I can't wait for more of the Blades.

The narrators were incredible!!

What happens when two people stop talking, they fall apart. What happens when they decide to be honest with themselves and each other- Perfection and that’s Body Check!!

I love Holly & Jackson so much!!! This book gave me all the feels!! These characters have history! But Maria Luis writes them so well. I love the honesty of both characters with themselves and then each other.

And just when you think man is this intense...... Maria Luis throws in some laughter, but it flows so well and makes sense. I cried, laughed, felt happiness and joy then heartbreak and happiness again!!

There are some twists and angst but I loved the honesty, the real life issues, true love, supportive characters from the other Blades Hockey books- it was incredible!

Holly & Jackson are one my top book couples. I love them together! Maria Luis- love you and this book! I could go on and on with so many highlighted sections and thoughts but all I can say is - everyone go read this book!!

This book was a mix of everything! So emotional and loving. Very powerful. I didn’t know if I’d like it as much as the others since she didn’t introduce these characters much in the other books. She did with the captain but not the female protagonist. I could have read more!

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

I don't exactly enjoy second chance romances so this one may not be for me. So take the review with a grain of salt. But I did understand what Jackson was going through and how tough that could be and how it could destroy a marriage. I loved that he was able to turn his life around. Good save! Love the narrators a lot in this one!

Body Check was definitely the best one of this series. I used my credit because I am a fan of Joe Hempel and he did not disappoint me. I've listened/read from this author before and I will look more from her other books. Although I am not a fan of Elizabeth, she did an excellent job reading her part. I will look from her, too. That said, this is a story about two people who used to be married and found each later to realize that they still have deep feelings toward each other. I loved their journey back to one another. This was fun, warm romance. I highly recommend!

Damn you, Maria!!!😭 I was a blubbering idiot, convulsions crying: I had to pause and rewind because I couldn't hear over my own tears. This hit home with many similarities in my life.
😘I didn't think Hunt and Gwen could be topped.
But damn it. IMO this couple is the best in the series.

🎤Narrators ..... Joe did a fantastic job.
While not a huge fan of Elizabeth, I'm able to get past her gasping for air after each sentence as long as I adjust playback to 1.3 speed..... 👉if anyone knows how to reach out to her or her agent ---- Please!!!!!!!!! Figure out what is going on with Elizabeth's audio tracks. This is at least the 5th book I've listened to this week with subpar recordings. This book was released about 4 or 5 years ago - hopefully, her more recent work has been improved. Her tracks are not at the same level of sound quality as Joe. Tracks sound hallow. It's almost as if she isn't using a noise canceling MIC. Maybe get a different mic or boost your recording booth/ studio. There is a continual background white noise; it sounds like a yard sprinkler in the distance or can't hiss of a needle on a vinyl record. The feedback is distracting.

Loved Jackson & Holly. This story is about a couple who lost their spark but not the love. Communication is the key and in this story they both see that. Learning about What is really going on with Jackson Holly flees to be by his side. He was always the one lifting her up and this was her chance. The narration was FANTASTIC! Loved every word!
