This series is my favorite by far. It has the most enrapturing way of pulling you in, stopping your heart, and hitting you in allllllll the feels.
This book can stand alone, as can the others, but I highly recommend giving them all a listen.
The perfect amount of romance, angst, and a smidge of heartbreak only to lift you right back up.
It’ll make you laugh and swoon and leave you…dare I say….’breathless.’

I personally like the pacing of this story was very good! I think that Joey is a great female lead and I could relate to a lot of her choices. I also loved the other characters and their development!

The narrators were a great fit for these characters, and the story was really good. The only thing I didn’t like was Joey believing the (SPOILER ALERT) psycho woman’s lies in addition to disregarding her own unease about the woman’s behavior. It seems like a lot of the books I’ve read/listened to lately have this same scenario or the female character goes to the restroom at a big event and is told similar lies by a jealous woman. It’s becoming predictable, but this author did give it an extra twist with the attack, so I am still giving this a 4. I would give a 4.5 if that were an option.

This one is a surprise! I love best friends sisters books! This one does not disappoint. The author does a good job bringing Logan around to Her way of thinking. She has loved him forever and followed him and her big brother around in child hood. She has finally given up he will never return her affection and decides to move on. This is really a absence makes the heart grow fonder theme. Once she is back he starts seeing her as a GIRL not little best friend. As he starts to come around...it could be his past then sends her running again.

I loved the ending and all the surprises and some suspense. It is all very heartwarming and surprising. The big gesture is so so sweet! Melts my heart.

I did listen to this on audio. Rose Dioro and Joe Arden do great! I especially loved Joe’s growly voice when needed.

Logan and Josephine are best friends since childhood. Time has changed how they look at each other. Can they be more? Lex writes a sweet story of discovering what’s been in front of you all along, and takes us on a journey of the possibilities of everlasting love. The narration was good. The story was good. Logan and Jojo are wonderful.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed the storyline and connection between the two main characters. However, I had the hardest time enjoying it with the female part of the narration, especially when she would do the male voices. It made me cringe! I thought The Male narrator was great but I would not listen to another book by this female narrator. I thought it was that bad. I would recommend buying the book and reading it yourself.
