About this listen

Anemone's certain fate has it in for her, until a huge man bursts into her house, insisting he's been woken from his centuries-long sleep to be her personal protector.

Young widow Anemone buries her grief in the distant past through her job as a museum curator. That is, until a hero appears from nowhere, saving her from a freak accident.

Dun doesn't remember anything before the moment he saved Anemone. But from the moment he saw her, he knew he'd stop at nothing to keep her safe.

Can they break the bonds holding them back to pain in the past to find a new future?

Since I am listening to this Series one after the other, I am mystified by the differences of abilities and such btw Tor and now Duncan.
Until Tor's curse was broken he appeared as a Gargoyle. While Duncan has the ability to changei how he appears, for example, as a man when he wants / needs to. Narrator does a Great job with the characters and the Entire Storyline.

I enjoyed listening to this story. The storyline kept my attention. I liked reading characters. And the ending was written very well. I'm excited to listen to the last book in this series!
