Bilson

The idea of moving away from Seattle was a joke at first.

I have too many failed relationships here. Too much baggage.

So when I find myself signing with Nashville and leaving everything behind, I’m hopeful a new start will cure me of my attachment problems.

I fall fast and hard, and I’m quickly realizing it’s not so easy to escape my emotional damage. That follows no matter where I go.

When my new teammate, rookie goalie Miles Olsen, attaches himself to my side, the media are excited to exploit our bromance. Little do they know, he’s doing me a favor by keeping me away from making mistakes with women.

That’s the deal we made at the beginning of the season, but as time goes on, and we’re both going through a dry spell, Miles suggests a different arrangement. One I’ve never contemplated. One I shouldn’t consider.

One I can’t stop thinking about.

Miles

My first day as starting goalie for Tennessee is made mildly more terrifying by coming face to face with NHL veteran Cody Bilson. Hero worship? Me? Never!

He reminds me of my old frat buddies; loyal, kind, easy to trade banter with. But my dude is lost and trying to find himself again--without getting married this time.

I want to help him, and while my suggestion might not be conventional, it sure as hell is effective. The only way to make sure he doesn't marry a woman again? Blow off steam with a man instead.

We're both straight, we're both single, and we're both down for a good time.

After all, what are teammates for?

Solid Story all around

I haven't read the previous books before, however, this will defintely act as a gateway since I quite found this book to be very enjoyable. The *spicy scenes* were very well written and detailed (a plus) however, at first it lacked sensuality, but now writing this i come to realize that the sensuality was really a build up to symbolism their growing connection. In all good characters, pretty good writing - - 4.5/5 stars.

Bilson and Miles are "chefs" kiss

OMG. I love Bilson and Miles. Bi-Awakening is my favorite trope so this book was fantastic to me.
Miles is so funny how he keeps ribbing Bilson as being an old man. Jokes on him because that old man has game and he's not going to be able to say no to him.
Both guys are new to the team. On a slump with the ladies they try to have a threesome with a woman but strike out. So on a dare they explore each other. One time turns into another until their bi-awakening wakes up. They both are adult children so they are perfect for each other.
Miles is so loveable, carefree, crazy and has pet rocks for his pets. He's a goalie so everyone is used to his weirdness. Bilson has his dog, Killer, whom Miles has claimed as "theirs" after they kind of took him from the ex. Bilson has 4 ex-wives. Miles loves his parents and family and still lives at home. Bilson has a unfriendly relationship with his parents. So it's no surprise that he loves the Olsen parents. Bilson becomes very protective of Miles and it is very sweet. His awakening comes first and he is very patient with Miles to figure out where he wants to be.
This storyline is by far one of the best. I love Ezra and Anton, Aleks and Gabe and now Bilson and Miles.
Narration was good but I think this whole series would have been better as duet narration.

I’ve listened to this series 2x now. My favorite is Alex and Gabe only because it made me laugh so hard I couldn’t see straight, but all these books have a high level of comedy in them!. I’ve read almost ALL of her books!. Love love love them !

Another great Puckboy audiobook

I love the age gap between Cody and Miles. Miles thought he was heterosexual and Cody realized that he’s pansexual due to his attraction to Miles.

Their relationship is so sweet, loving, and hot AF. The Queer Collective of hockey players continues to grow!

Iggy Tom’s and Alexander Cendese are as amazing as ever when bringing these characters story to life ❤️‍🔥
