Starting line.
This book touched on much of the information I needed for basic understanding. The questions I had about Buddhism were answered. I’d say this is just enough to get you started on the path to following this philosophy. Oddly enough, I had already been following many of the laws or dharma. It’s a great addition to my current practice.

Short and to the point, this book explains Buddhism not as a religion but as a philosophy and a way of life. It is brief but complete; further exploration on the topic would be something the listen could delve into after listening to this introduction. Basic beliefs, ideals, life skills and practices are covered along with a timeline of events since the founding of Buddhism.
A great way of introducing you to this way of life.

LGBT Statements
