Publisher's summary

CHST Exam Essential Practice Simply and Thoroughly Explained as the name implies, an essential set of questions for anyone taking the Construction Health and Safety Technician certification exam. This book draws the listener in, which certainly assists with their increased retention of the amount of material that must be covered. The questions are well introduced with a short narrative before presenting the pertinent equations and solution to the over 500 example essential questions. The book serves as a formidable preparation for the CHST exam and a good review of basic principles, a reference for many of the day-to-day technical issues confronting the practicing worker’s safety, and a guide for raising awareness of potential problems for which alert action is required. The authors bring a breadth of experience and insight into the issues handled in the text. They bring context to the basic principles highlighted by the examples of the questions and their solutions.

CHST Exam Essential Practice Simply and Thoroughly Explained should be a must-have text for everyone in the field.

Like listening to a Robot 🥱

There is no spacing between topic information. The speaker is Monotone and completely robotic. It’s very difficult to listen to and not have to pause and replay the same audio again and again. I wish i had my cert back!!! Do not waste ur money!!

Contained Incorrect Information

I stopped listening to this after catching two very obvious incorrect pieces of information within the first two chapters. First, Fall Protection Anchors are required to support 5,000 pounds per attached worker, not 3,000. Second, protective systems are required for trenches starting at 5 feet in depth, not 4 feet. I stopped listening after that second error. I will be requesting a refund if I can get it, but do not rely on this book for studying for your CHST.
