About this listen

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken returns with a smoking-hot story about the satisfaction of plotting revenge on your ex - until he turns your world upside down again.

Austin Rogers's dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her - as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex's downfall - but so does kissing him.

Thatch Holloway, a plastic surgeon straight out of residency, knows he ruined the best thing that ever happened to him. But not all cheaters are created equal. He got himself into this messed-up situation - true - but he has his reasons for what happened, and he'd do it all again to protect Austin.

He's not over her. And she's not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they're forced to work together. But Thatch isn't afraid to play dirty in return. And he's still hiding something - something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mmm OK, I loved the 1st book in this series but I only enjoyed this one.
It was entertaining enough so I'm not sure why I didn't love it.
Excellent job by both narrators, my only issue was with Alexander's female voice... he just made them sound so ditzy, not appealing at all. But holey smoke does he have a smoking got voice, deep and gravely.

Thatch and Austin are puzzle pieces!!

This story rocks!!! I love the sexiness, the humor, the characters and the depth of this story. Both narrators did a fabulous job of making the story come alive!! It was like listening to the movie!!

An entertaining and fulfilling ending

This book was not as good as the first one but still a fun listen. My main issue is that I felt that Astin was too much behind Tatch and he kept rejecting her. I just wanted her to get over it already. It was a brief relationship and she just couldn't keep going. Anyway, everything made sense by the end of the story and the ending was very satisfying and gret for both couples. Good narration too.

Good but the first story was better for me

I liked the first story better as the H in this story seemed to be much more callous than the first H. It took longer for him to grow. Still fun to read.

Fantastic follow-up book!!

This was such a great book! Not quite as funny as "Cheater", (almost) but great, just the same. This story follows Austin and Thatch after she caught him kissing Brooke at the end of "Cheater".
They each have a lot of "background" and secrets in their families.
I loved the ending of this book!! Especially how we got some additional closure with Avery and Lucas too. I'd recommend this to anyone.

Cute

Really liked this one. Funny, but not as funny as the first book and a little quirky.

Cheater's Regret

This book was as good as the first, different but still good. When I was listening to book 1, I was hoping it was a part two. And I am glad there was a part two. Awesome read.

good book

It is a cute little series. I liked both books, laughed, and cried. Good narrators, as usual.

Another GREAT one by Rachel!

I was asked by the author for an honest review.

Austin Rogers’s dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her—as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex’s downfall—but so does kissing him.

He’s not over her. And she’s not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they’re forced to work together. But Thatch isn’t afraid to play dirty in return. And he’s still hiding something—something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever…

Rachel is one of my favorite authors! I loved this book! This series is freaking hilarious! I loved this story and I have truly enjoyed this book. It is well written and I can't wait to see what's next! If you love a funny romance book try this series! This series has kept me rolling on the floor dying laughing.
