About this listen

Four guys. Constant moaning. And a revolving door across the college suite I somehow ended up in because my first name is Shawn. They don't discriminate. Girls. Guys. Grandmas. Plants (okay maybe not plants). All walks of life stroll in stressed to the brim and leave so satisfied I'm wondering what sort of talents lie behind that door.

My roommate calls them the pleasure ponies. But the rest of the college campus? They just call them the new face of Wingmen Inc. - a paid-for-relationship service that makes big promises. Breakup? They'll glue you back together again. Depressed? They have the magic pill. Lonely? Just spend a few minutes while they rub you down and you'll forget all about it. And broken hearts? Well, that's their specialty. They'll fix you. For a price...

I swore I wouldn't get involved. But apparently, they like a challenge, and a girl who doesn't put up with their BS is basically like waving a red flag in front of a bull. They. All. Charged. But one holds my attention above the rest.

Knox Tate looks like a Viking - and getting pillaged is starting to look more appealing by the day. Though he's hiding something - all of them are. And the closer I get, the more I realize that some things are left better in the past. It's not what you think, or is it?

Dive in, and find out...Knox, Leo, Finn, and Slater are waiting, and they aren't patient men.

Contains mature themes.

The narration could be better

I agree with another reviewer. For a black character, please get a black voice actress, there truly is a cadence in our voice that is unique to us, the same with a woman of latin decent and women of Asian descent. Also if she is biracial, she does not have mocha skin....

5 Stars

Clicked on the book after seeing a black woman on the cover (sorry not sorry - white authors do not unusually create main characters who are poc and especially without stereotypes). This book did not disappoint. I did not expect that twist at the end!

It was hot and interesting from the beginning! I'll definitely be continuing the series.

Good enough

Definitely a young adult book but I enjoyed it. Funny and sweet also a little cheesy at times. The behavior of the guys was a little creepy but I guess it’s what the book is about so I rolled with it.
Macie destroys the book… if they had a different female voice I think I could have overlooked some of the cheesiness- but her voice is too high pitched to take seriously and acting lacks the depth needed to bring out the scenes. I love Shedlock and enjoyed his performance.

I put off listening to these books because I’m not into reading about college kids and because of Macie - but I’m running out of “free” books with performers I enjoy. I wouldn’t use credits for this series.

I listened to the entire book non-stop from beginning to end. It had me on an emotional rollercoaster all the way through.

Overall story and performance was absolutely great, I could not think of a single thing that i disliked.

Okay story, but felt rushed

This story was okay. I felt like I missed reading some chapters or something. The story jumped quick and left me feeling like I missed some vital information.

Enjoyable story

If you’ve followed the Wingman series, you will enjoy this ‘next generation’ of Wingmen stories.
Worth the read of listen.

Great story but…

Definitely loved Aaron S. But Shawn should have had a black voice actress to make it more believable and since race did play into the story. The female narrator wasn’t bad just not the best fit. Love love loved the story.

multiracial college love story fun

takes a little to get started but once it does it's so fun. there were some plot holes like ::SPOILER ALERT:: the stalking plot line kind of came out of nowhere. but that was excusable and I still loved the story and ending!

Great read

I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. I just purchased the book today, it was so interesting, laugh out loud funny and suspenseful I had to finish it I just couldn't wait. And the ending was worth it. Another great book for Rachel Van Dyken!
