Publisher's summary

The unthinkable has happened: An Akkadian assassin has helped broker peace between her star nation and the Alliance.

Micah Case and Task Force Blue watch the peace talks with guarded optimism - but they know one thing the rest of the settled worlds don't: Clint Janus has vanished with the Alliance's most closely held secret. And Micah Case holds the key.

Janus is now allied with Akkadia's new premier, Asher Dent, and the man is not as peace-loving as he might seem. It's going to be up to Micah Case and Task Force Blue to prevent Dent from achieving that which he wants most: total space supremacy over all the settled worlds.

Includes Operation Cobalt, a bonus novella from the Biogenesis Wars series.

Wonderful book in a wonderful series ARC!

OK, if you don't already know what "Chirality Entanglement" is, Stop, Right, Now... and go read book#1 "Chiral Agent", to start this Techno-Thriller Scifi story ARC from the beginning! Otherwise you'll just be lost!

Once again, we're following our very favorite, Special-Ops team! The team is set to tackle the Chirality Entanglement experiments, and to prevent fruition of the Akkadian's diabolical plot to takeover the free universe! As it happens, the old adage "The enemy of my enemies is my friend" might  just hold true in this instance!

So, grab the audiobook, because Tom Taylorson's narration is simply exemplary, and of course, because of LL Richman's beautiful and vivid imaginings, painted with a rich tapestry of words!
As a long time reader/fan of Scifi, I perceived many Easter-eggs/nods to other franchises... from StarTrek: 1st Generation, to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... maybe something from Doc Savage's universe, and even Dr Seuss! LOL...

To see what I mean about LL Richman, here's a few quotes from the book to entertain you!

"Place little shiny on big shiny.” {Then I get to keep?} “No… no.” He exhaled a short, frustrated breath, his fist closing on the tracker. “Little shiny has to stay where you put it."

"Depending on how well-trained it is, the cat should be able to get away with a lot more than a human could.” Joule turned glittering green eyes on the woman. {Not an it.} A look of startlement crossed Aviva’s face. “Did that thing just talk?” Morrison asked. Joule’s head whipped around to face the man, eyes narrowing. {Not a thing, either.} “Holy shit,” he breathed. “He did.” If a cat could roll its eyes, Joule would be doing so. {Am a she!}

Joule’s jaw dropped, fangs flashing as the big animal gave the feline version of a grin. {Human not think fast as cat.}

"You expect us to… walk on water? Are you nuts?” “It’s not nuts. It’s science.” Sam shot him a grin. “Trust me, flyboy. You’re in my wheelhouse now."

And true to form, they included a bonus novella, Operation Cobalt! This made me so happy, even thought I had already read the story, it's one of my very favorites ❤! And getting to hear Tom Taylorson read it to me was like some exquisite sausage gravy on a plate full of hot, fluffy biscuits! Delicious!
Here's my very-slightly-edited review:
Operation Cobalt is awesome! The Main Character (Katie Hyer), inspite of her young age, is already a kickass protagonist! She's smart and willing to do what's necessary to stop the terrorists from taking over the Space Station, Cobalt mining, and the only place that she's ever called home!
This is actually a prequel novella to the Chiral Agent introducing several of the main players that you'll see in all the books!

Here's a few of my favorite bits that I pulled from the tale!

"...remember the OODA Loop.” Slater’s voice rang in her head, his words as clear as if he was walking alongside her. “Observe. Orient. Decide. Act. These steps may save your life one day.”

“Most platforms have a small group of kids, employees’ children, who are raised there,” he explained. “Platform rats are easily bored, stuck on a small station like this for long periods of time. They can get into an interesting amount of trouble when left on their own.”

“Remember what Doc always says: ‘Luck is the residue of preparation.’ Icing on the cake, nothing more.”

{That’s your plan… To blow it up?} Asha deadpanned, her tone stopping just short of incredulity.
