About this listen

Enter a world filled with magic and exotic races.

You’d think riding wyverns and being in the company of a shapechanger and an armoured telepath, you’d be safe.

Leonie is a half-caste, half-human thief, fighting for survival on the cutthroat streets of Delta.

Various cults are after her, including the Jart'lekk, the local assassins’ guild. Even her dead enemies keep coming after her.

And this is a good day!

Attempting to save a royal courier, she is now burdened with the task of taking a long-lost book to a safe place. When she escapes the city with her shapechanger companion, she begins to learn more about her uncanny abilities, and her past. But life doesn’t get easier. Regardless of her fire-balling abilities and wyvern-riding, magic and prophecy could be the cause of her undoing.

Yes, I narrated this one and I loved it. I revisited this one because I'm currently working on the next in the series. If you love Fantasy with a touch of Scifi, this is for you. This book grew out of Andre Jones' role playing games because there just wasn't the exact world he wanted. He's created it masterfully here. And rather than belch out backstory or unnecessary exposition, you get to discover it as you go along with Leonie - an ostensibly Half-Rrell (feline)/half-human thief from the takers guild who gets caught up in the assassination of a courier with an ancient tome - that EVERY guild, sect, and religion Hell bent on getting their hands on, and aren't worried about who they kill in the process.
Magic, Dragons, Shapeshifters, telepathy, undead, and 7 different species brought to inhabit a world through mysterious means.
I can't wait to finish the next one. Its a bit heavier on the scifi end.
Listen for yourself! You'll love it!
