About this listen

3 Volumes in One Offering! An impending apocalypse. An opportunity to prevent it. The challenge? Earn humanity's survival by saving fantastical worlds from their own destruction. Simple, huh?

The vast comet should have destroyed us...

When it slowed, then landed, everything we thought we knew about the universe changed. And for Mark, things just got far stranger, and much more dangerous.

They came from another dimension, condemning our selfish, greedy ways, but sensing in us a potential to change. So when they chose Mark as a volunteer in their deadly trials to save the human race, how could he say no?

Join him on his quest for loot, levels, and powerful abilities. He'll need them all as he fights in kingdoms large and small, battling demons and dinosaurs, vampires and robots, orcs and... fairies?

For Mark, the price of saving the planet looks to be a world of hurt. Maybe he would've been better off if the comet hadn't landed so softly, after all?

It's Humanity mixed with creativity!

The only thing I don't like is that I'm at the end for the second time and now waiting fore more books of this to come out.

Engaging and enthralling

This one caught me a bit off guard with how much I enjoyed it. I hadn't ever heard of it but gave it a shot with the listening time to credit I figured if it was decent it would be worth it. I am very glad I did now and am eagerly hoping for the series to continue. If you enjoy the genre you should be happy with your purchase. The over-arching story is interesting and leaves you wanting to know what comes next and the nature of what the characters have to do makes each book a contained story on its own. The interaction between the characters is good if not the greatest there is growth for most if not all of them as they experience more and more. Overall while not the best I've ever read it kept me interested and wanting to listen for over 80 hours and anticipating the next book eagerly so I say it is definitely worth the credit.

Great series and Great deal!

The entire series in one book for a credit?
I had to get it!
I was not disappointed.
Aliens trun the earth into an apocalyptic video game and Mark, the MC, and others need to save the world by playing the game.
A story well worth your credit!
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Well worth the credit

Great Story and premise. MCs are well defined and there is always a sense of danger.

No thanks

I couldn't finish; MC is an annoying baby. Makes dumb decisions. The plot was decent until the guns and dinos. The whole thing is him just scaring by on luck; he doesn't grow as a character or in power in any meaningful way

Listened till chapter 8, gave up

I listen to this story until chapter 8, felt I gave it enough of a chance but I could not relate.

MC is annoying

I think I'm quitting just an hour into book 2, and that's after almost quitting near the end of book 1. The MC suffers from Jason Asano syndrome, continuing to drop pop culture references despite knowing NOBODY WILL UNDERSTAND. He has zero control over his emotions and literally goes catatonic at the worst times. He berates and yells at the ONLY alien trying to keep him and humanity alive! He slaughters a hundred foes then has a sudden morality problem and gives up the blatant advantage because reasons. He thinks steam engines have something to do with pistons but can't describe more than that?! What kind of third world education did this guy receive?! The powers are random, poorly explained, thoroughly unexplored and uninspired. We're NEVER told how the stats work. Strength and Agility are fairly straightforward, but how would the completely neglected Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma and Luck stats effect the MC? We never get even a cursory explanation and the MC NEVER EVEN ASKS. NEVER! Narrators do a great job but nothing can salvage this. Wasted credit.
