About this listen

The new short story from Karin Slaughter and Lee Child!

Twice the action.

Twice the drama.

Double the trouble.

Will Trent is undercover at Fort Knox. His assignment: to investigate a 22-year-old murder. His suspect's name: Jack Reacher.

Jack Reacher is in Fort Knox on his own mission: to bring down a dangerous criminal ring operating at the heart of America’s military. Except now Will Trent is on the scene.

But there’s a bigger conspiracy at play - one that neither the special agent nor the ex-military cop could have anticipated. And the only option is for Jack Reacher and Will Trent to team up and play nicely. If they can....

I needed something to listen to while on a flight and came across this book. it was a great quick listen for my flight. I wish it were longer or had a part 2. it ended way too soon. but definitely worth the listen.

If you're a Reacher fan, check it out. It is very short, but anything dealing with Jack Reacher...

I found that the story ended unexpectedly. like there was more of a story to be told but the writer ran out of time.

ended abruptly

sometimes short stories are just not satisfying, especially when they have familiar characters from novels. this is not the case here. a very satisfying listen. stands alone too I think.

very good

The narrator has an awkward cadence that is both anxiety inducing and mind numbing. Tough to listen to.

Not terrible. Not great.

This was an interesting distraction, and I bet it was a fun collaboration for the authors. I’m not familiar with the Jack Reacher character, but I got a great sense of him in this little side show. Will Trent was awesome, per usual.

Story good. but incomplete. Ends the story without an end.
Two different narrators with two different voices... really?

Love Jack Reacher but this is incomplete

What the heck. What a disappointment. They ended it in the middle of the story.

Lack of a finish, very, very disappointing

I’ve been a big fan of both series since I picked up the first book of each and I really enjoyed this little meet up between Reacher and Trent

A fun crossover

I particularly enjoyed the dynamic between Reacher and Trent. Perhaps Lee Child will bring them together in future books.

The information on Fort Knox, and the introduction to Will Trent.
