Some say that we are the sum total of what we surround ourselves with. For example, what we choose to watch on television, listen to on the radio, surround ourselves with, and even the thoughts we think all have an effect on our overall perceptions and thought patterns. Just like the foods that we eat, over time, create our bodies, our thoughts shape who we are. And they ultimately shape the types of situations we manifest in our lives.

Love it!
This helps me fall asleep fast! Also, although sometimes I hear it when I come out of deep sleep, it never bothers me. Her voice is a soothing comfort and the affirmations are actually awesome.
I have also noticed that I tend to take better care of myself and act and think in less codependent ways when I’m listening consistently. I think it can be part of a good therapy plan. But I wouldn’t expect it to solve the problem of codependency on its own. It’s a complex and lifelong pattern.

So soothing!
This is really great to fall asleep to! The narrator's voice is so gentle and calming. I am the classic codependent with little self-esteem. I listen to this book almost every night and I'm hoping the affirmations really plant themselves into my subconscious. I'm thrilled I purchased it.

great help
I have noticed a great change in my relationships. I no longer rush in to help others, nor do I feel responsible when someone doesn't do their part at work. My urge to save others has been reduced dramatically.

I love the narrator's voice, very calming and soothing. I've listened several times already and it's lovely to fall sleep to. The words are beautiful and imaginative for getting to sleep, and I've heard the words for the affirmations and they were very encouraging and helpful. Highly recommend!

Makes my heart beat fast
I fall asleep but every so often I feel my heart raising and I get scared. I don’t know if it’s the background music they use or the women’s tone of voice. I was hoping for more out of this book. I’m disappointed.
