About this listen

Colin has spent his whole life waiting for something. He doesn’t know exactly what it is, or how to find it—all he knows is that he wants more. When the existence of vampires gives him hope for exactly that, he’s determined to find one for himself. And when he finds out Tucson holds two vampires without mates of their own, he’s willing to do whatever he can to get close.

Fox has spent his whole life looking out for his brother. So when his twin shows signs of bone-deep boredom and ambivalence, who can blame him for wanting to grab on to anything that could bring him back to himself? And if that something happens to be the pushy, prickly blue-haired human on their doorstep—asking to stay, demanding to be fed on—then so be it.

Dane has spent his whole life feeling different. Even as a vampire, he doesn’t quite fit the mold—too attached to his brother, for one, with a platonic, fated bond that can’t be broken. So when a strange human comes into their lives and seems to accept them exactly as they are, who can blame him for starting to hope, just a little, for something… more?

Colin is a heated, fated-mates MMM paranormal romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger. It contains a grumpy, vampire-addicted human and the twin vampire brothers who are hungry for anything and everything he has to offer. It also contains steamy scenes and the moderate violence (and mentions of blood) one might expect from a vampire romance. While each book focuses on a different couple, the series is best enjoyed in order.

Colin & His Mates

I'm rounding this up from 4.5. I absolutely loved reading Colin, Fox and Dane's story. I enjoyed Colin and the twins separately, but together, they were amazing. I'm sad to see the series ending. This story eased the pain. I absolutely enjoyed listening to this story as much as reading it. Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job narrating as usual.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Wonderful Final Installment!

It was great getting to know Colin, Dane, and Fox after getting glimpses of them in previous books in the Vampire’s Mate series. I adored the dynamic the three of them had with Colin being so grumpy and having his twin vampires being golden retrievers constantly nipping at his heels. Plus the spice and banter was top tier. And I of course loved the cameos from Jay and Jamie. They were such great friends to Colin!

As always I enjoyed Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration. This time I particularly loved his portrayal of Dane. I thought his voice matched perfectly with his character and what I always imaged Dane sounding like when I first read the book.

Give it a read

OK, so first what I liked about it. I loved how all the stories are connected. This is I believe the fourth book but I’m not sure I love the idea of them being twins and sharing everything including him. I wish that we got more on what happened after but good story please think about getting it✨🐺

My favorite book of the whole series!

Listened to the audio book and I just loved it. Michael is a great narrator for this series, and this is definitely my favorite of the series.

We met Colin earlier in the series, and I was so interested in getting his story. He's gray-ace, and a bit obsessed with a vampire's bite. And I loved his take charge bravado and attitude and how he just totally owned the vampire twins right from the start.

And the twins! Fox and Dane are so so much more complex and amazing than I ever thought they'd be from what we saw of them in Lucien's book. I love them. I love their infatuation with Colin and their total golden retriever vibe, but still dark b/c y'know - vampires LOL.

I loved seeing so many characters show up in this, I continue to adore Jay, and I absolutely love love love this series. I'm so sad to see it ending. I'm excited we're kinda staying in this world though, with a spin-off series. I have adored all these vampires and their mates. What an amazing series.

Vampire Twin Goodness

I love this series so much and I'm SO HAPPY that Colin gets a story. This guy deserved one and not only does he get one vampire, he gets two! We've met the twins before in Lucien and they're kind of jerks...at least to Lucien. But they treat Collin great and I love how supportive they are. Collin calls them clingy but it's super cute how tactile the two of them are with him, and how Colin's acceptance of their platonic mate eased some of the shame Dane felt over his need of his brother. If you need to know, the brothers don't mind sharing but they are platonic with each other. I think Fox says it best with "He (Dane) looks just like me and I'm not that much of a narcissist" or something to that affect. This is another great addition to the Vampire Mate's series and there's a good amount of feelings with some deliciously spicy times all peppered with a tiny bit of action. Michael nails it again giving each twin their own personality and I can't say enough good things about this series or the narrator!!

black cat energy x golden retriever vibes

Colin by Grae Bryan is book the 6th and final book in the Vampire's Mate series.

« MMM »
« grumpy human x golden retriever vampires »
« platonic vampire twins »
« fated mates »
« biting kink »
« gray-ace MC »

Since being introduced to Fox and Dane, I was curious about how their story would unfold as platonic bonded vampire twins. I was hesitant to read this book as MMM is not my jam, but I love this series so much and couldn’t not read the last one! To my surprise, I absolutely loved Colin, Fox, and Dane. I could even argue that this was the best MMM I have read. So many MMM stories leave me feeling like one is left or that they prefer one over the other. I did not get that feeling at all from this book. I felt like the triad really fit together perfectly.

I am such a sucker for a**holes who are only soft for their person. This trope will never get old for me. The twins are total a**holes, but not with Colin. With Colin they are protective, sweet, and are total caretakers who love to dote on their human. I loved the contrast of Colin’s black cat energy and the twins’ golden retriever vibes.

Platonic bonds are rare and as a result Fox and Dane’s old den treated them like outcasts and freaks. The lack of comfort and affection from each other impacted the twins – making their devils restless. Colin was the missing puzzle piece slotting into place. The twins needed him, but Colin needed them just as much. Colin understood their bond without judgement, and they accepted him in return – his sexuality, his insecurities, his prickliness; telling him he is enough, just as he is. They quieted his mind and allowed him to let go.

As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration! The cameos just added to the perfection of this story! Jay being protective of his human bestie, Jamie being a little shit as always, and Roman and Luc being frenemies. This was an amazing conclusion to the Hyde Park/Tucson den and the Vampire Mates series.

Colin is a bossy bottom. I love it.

I love this book. I love the storyline. I’m happy that he gets what he deserved. I didn’t read the book just for this purposely just so I can hear it even though I bought I bought the book. I can’t wait to your other books come out on audio. This is a great book. Love the steamy romance.
