About this listen

This volume consists of previously published Cooper stories. The stories contained in this in this collection include:

"Full Circle": Elliott's finishing up his last few days as a P.I. before he retires. He and Matt are hired by a fussy client to follow a man who has already eluded two other detective agencies already. Elliott guarantees the client that he and Matt can get the job done in two days or there'll be no charge. The client doesn't think it can be done, but Elliott has an ace up his sleeve.

"About Face": Elliott has just retired and Matt has taken over the business. Matt's first assignment has him babysitting a court witness who had the bad luck to have a face lift and come out looking like someone the mob is after.

"Egg Zackly": On his way to taking Gloria to the dentist, Matt witnesses a bad accident on the Hollywood Freeway and gets the go ahead from the new Lieutenant, Kevin Cole, to look into the cause. What he finds are a couple of troublemakers throwing eggs off the overpass at passing vehicles. Now he has to try to find out who they are and stop them before someone gets killed.

"Double Take": Matt runs into an old friend from high school who hires him to find her stolen antique wood box that still contains her $8,000 in a hidden compartment. The box also contains a stash of cocaine, so the woman can't got to the police with her problem. Meanwhile, the new lieutenant at the 12th precinct, Kevin Cole, has problems of his own. Two women were killed and there are no suspects. These women were twin sisters that everyone at the local bar knew as "Heckle and Jeckle". Matt's investigation into the stolen box will have him cross paths with the killer of the ugly twins.

The entire Cooper Collection consists of 136 stories (so far).
