About this listen
In the 21st century, there are many in the West who are walking away from the church. They are adopting the secular idea that science has somehow invalidated faith. Core Facts is an explanation of some of the best reasons to believe, in the midst of a culture that is plagued with doubt. If you want to see the evidence for yourself, or share it with someone else, this book is designed to give you a foundational look at the facts that have stood the test of time!
Braxton Hunter has engaged in formal public debates with popular atheists. Braxton has also been a youth pastor, senior pastor, evangelist, and small group leader. He has a passion for the best reasons to believe, and for the people who he thinks should hear these Core Facts. Braxton serves as the president of Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. He has a doctor of ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary, and a PhD from Trinity College and Seminary. He also runs a popular YouTube channel called Trinity Radio, which reaches thousands each week.

An inspiring new perspective on the science versus religion debate. Can science explain everything? Many people think so. Science, and the technologies it has spawned, has delivered so much to the world: Clean water; more food; better healthcare; longer life. And we live in a time of rapid scientific progress that holds enormous promise for many of the problems we face as humankind. So much so, in fact, that many see no need or use for religion and belief systems that offer us answers to the mysteries of our universe. Science has explained it, they assume. Religion is redundant.

"Apologetics is that branch of practical theology concerned with the defense of the Christian faith. Yet, I discovered that, for years, I had being doing apologetics wrong. It turned out that what I was defending was not really the Christian faith, but simply a form of theism. In this book, I introduce the concept of presuppositional apologetics, and examine it from Scripture...." - Paul Taylor, author

Story
To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. 6Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide listeners through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God.

Story
Skeptics believe we don’t need God to understand reality, and that science and reason hold the keys to building a better world. Faith is blind, and there is no credible evidence for God’s existence - especially the God of the Bible. Therefore, science and religious belief are deeply incompatible, and God is no longer relevant to our modern world. But if there is no God, how can our lives have any meaning? How can we make sense of good and evil, truth, justice, beauty, rationality, or even science itself?

Atheism is on the march in the western world, and its enemy is God. And if religion is the problem with the world, their answer is simple: Get rid of it. But are things really so straightforward? Tackling the likes of Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Christopher Hitchens, and Daniel Dennett head on, John Lennox highlights the fallacies in the their approach, arguing that their irrational and unscientific methodology leaves them guilty of the same obstinate foolishness of which they accuse dogmatic religious folks.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.
