These books are delightful. The narration is excellent and the characters are well developed and the relationship between Rex and Albert is growing deeper as they learn to communicate with each other.

I feel like this installment was basically unnecessary as it really went nowhere in moving the over-arching storyline of the series along. I’m also starting to feel a bit taken advantage of with the pricing of these novellas. In the beginning you could buy compilations of several stories for one credit, which is reasonable for a 5 hour story. Now each short book, even with a discount, costs about as much as one credit. So do I really want to use that much for 5-6 hours of listening time, especially for a book that is simply light entertainment? I love Albert and Rex, but once I get to the end of the series I probably won’t start another at these prices.
