Only love can heal a scarred soul

Jessica Porter is recovering from a medical procedure that has left her scarred, both physically and mentally. Before she goes back to work as a TV executive, she decides to call upon the services of her trusted escort, Laurel.

When a mix-up at the agency brings Liz to her door instead, it doesn't take long for her to charm Jessica. As Liz's disarming ways help Jessica slowly open up to the new reality of her body and her life, Jessica finds herself falling for Liz a little more each time.

But can Jessica accept Liz into her life completely, career and all? Or will the pressure of keeping up appearances doom their relationship before it even has a chance to flourish?

Great book in the series

One of the better books in an already wonderful series. I need to tell you about the narrator, though. She was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth as listen!

An incredible story of tragedy strength!

As the title says, this book is an incredible story of survivorship and strength to make it through one of the toughest things a woman can endure, at least in my mind it would be. Having a breast removed seems like a knife to the idea of being a woman, and Jessica is dealing with this. When she calls for help, a surprise shows up and gives unimaginable help, providing the support to actually look at the scar, the place where her breast used to be. This is something she has not been able to do until Liz shows up. Very well written and one that will touch many, I'm sure.

Great book, great narration

I loved this unique book about Jessica, recovering from breast cancer, hiring Liz, and escort, and the two of them falling in love.

I also love that one of the secondary characters here, Catherine, also an escort, has her own book later in this series. Harper Bliss could have said “I’ve done one story about an escort, no need to do another,” but of course they are two very different people with two very different experiences. The other book (as well as all in this series) is excellent.

I’m Addicted to this Series

I love Harper Bliss books and audio books. She’s got a gift for developing characters that have depth and personality. The central characters in this story he going through a particularly difficult time in her life. With the support of Caitlin, Jo and the new love of her life she finds her way to a new future. Great performance. Recommend.

A great book

Continuing the tradition of the Pink Bean series Harper Bliss wrote a cute book and Angela Dawe narrated it in a delightful way as always.
The only bad thing about this book it was too short... :)

Good, but not my fav Harper Bliss

Let me start by saying I've listened to all but one audible Harper Bliss books and they've all been amazing! I will buy her audiobooks the day they arrive on audible, because she can really write and I enjoy her storytelling. This book, Crazy for You, was probably my least favorite of her books, but it's still a good book/listen. I've just come to expect my socks knocked off everytime I listen to her books. The storyline for this wasn't my favorite and I never felt too invested or overly interested in the characters. if this was my first Harper Bliss book I might like it more, because I wouldn't know how awesome all her other books are. sort of a mixed review. sorry.

Let’s do it again.

This is one of those books that keeps you listening until the next chapter. I had a hard time putting it down. Off to my next adventure.

Rough story to follow

The story was way out there and not really something to enjoy. No matter how it’s painted, glamorized or justified, the profession in question is still very demeaning for straight or lesbian. Yes it’s fiction and a love story, but really this love story was a bit of a stretch. The idea that a normal person, and that word is used lightly, would condone this profession in any context including fictional is really absurd!

S$x worker meets rich woman :/

I’m sorry, but a s$x worker meets a rich older woman and they fall in love in two weeks? The s$x worker wants to keep working and be introduced to her gf friends and family as a s$x worker? I’m not buying it. She said she was working to save money to open an art gallery yet they do and she doesn’t retire from her night job? . Her gf has money yet she wants to keep what she’s doing for money? How about STDs? It’s not a love story. This is the first book by Harper Bliss that I don’t like. I appreciate that the author is trying to normalize s$x work however the people I’ve known that’s did it only did to survive and feed their kids.
