About this listen

We're the D'Artigo sisters: savvy half-human, half-Fae ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. My sister Camille is a wicked good witch with three gorgeous husbands. Delilah is a two-faced werecat and a Death Maiden. And me? I'm Menolly, a vampire married to a scorching hot werepuma. And right now, we're facing enemies on all sides. It's been a long and devastating week. Back in Otherworld, war has decimated the elfin city of Elqaneve, our father has gone missing, and Shadow Wing has managed to obtain another spirit seal. On the home front, somebody burned down my bar, the Wayfarer, killing eight people, including a friend. To make matters worse, we still haven' t found a way to stop Lowestar Radcliff - the daemon in charge of a supernatural corporate power grab. He's attempting to awaken Suvika, the lord of vice and corrupt businessmen, and we have to stop him. Our enemies are closing in on all sides, and this time, there's no place to hide.

I ADORE THIS SERIES!

It is getting so intense I've bought & listened to all the books & starting on priestess dreaming (Camille is my fav but I think she needs to add shamus to her harem❤️) I don't know what I'm going to do now that I'm almost caught up. The only other series that has obsessed me as much as this is the Thief Series by Lexi Blake all the sexiest fun blended perfectly with the wicked mythological adventures

You really have to follow series to enjoy

What did you love best about Crimson Veil?

What I love best about every book in the series so far is that each book focuses on one particular sister, even though touching on all of them and all the characters they are involved with. Menolly seems to be coming to terms with who she is and accepting her place in the world after being turned into a vampire in a very horrific way. (with scars on her skin, and internal scars that she'll never forget) It seems in this book she has come to terms with what happened and now has evolved to carry on to help fight the war in OtherWorld

What other book might you compare Crimson Veil to and why?

Can't really compare, each one of the books in the series is different, like I said a focuses on a different sisters problem, but doesn't exclude the other in any one story.

Have you listened to any of Cassandra Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Cassandra Campbell is the voice of The Moon Sisters. I can't imagine any other narrator doing as good a job with voices of each character and the emotions

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I don't want to write any spoilers. so I'll leave it to those who wish to

Any additional comments?

I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. So far I've not been disappointed.

Awesome, like all her other books

I loved this book , like all the other ones. theres fighting, sex, true love and even a little sadness at times but always ends with a bond of sisterhood and the love of family.

Great Series

I am enjoying this series a great deal.  I like how the author gives each sister a book to tell their part of the story and thst the characters are carried through out the series.  That said Deliah is my least favorite character, which makes her books less enjoyable.  She is a very whiny. selfish individual who has no self control.  I could do without all the litterb talk as well.  Great series and well written books. But Deliah needs to get s grip and stop being a selfish brat

love the series, love the narrator . simply put

magic requires work, family requires more, love the dynamic between the sisters, their loves, friends, teachers, and fellow fighters. they work together to protect a world newly theirs but loved all the same.
