About this listen

Being the best in her field doesn't seem to help famously successful sex therapist, Dr. Regina Logan, who manages to fix everyone’s love life but her own. Men won't date her. Her brutal honesty about physical matters intimidates most males. It also doesn’t help her love life that the press publishes every dating move she makes. Though she knows her negative publicity is the biggest problem, Regina thinks its still ironic for a 47 year old woman to be so knowledgeable about pleasing a man when there’s no lover in her life to benefit.

Since most men have a tendency to run away before making it as far as her bed, it is definitely no surprise to Regina when "nice guy" Ben Kaiser rejects her after discovering her identity. But it still hurts. Ben’s kisses promise fulfillment of every fantasy she’s ever had, but no matter how great he is, Regina would be the first to admit there’s no room in her crazy public life for someone as nice as Ben.

Great story but.....

Prolog at end of book makes absolutely no sense to me. Should have been at the beginning. I thought it was playing over again.

Confused by prologue!

The prologue doesn’t make any sense. I think it should be the epilogue, maybe? Otherwise it is a great book and is very entertaining.

Same as book 1.

This was almost a true and full narration.

However, just like book 1, Dating a Cougar the book overall was let down by the narrator.

It was an improvement on book one but could still be better.

hated the ending

the last little paragraphs blew it for me I hated the way she ended this book. The reason we read romance is for the happy ending. Ugh hated this. it's only reason this story didn't get 5 stars very very very disappointed in that last chapter if I would have known what I know now I would have not read the last chapter it didn't need it it took the whole book and made it ugh

Things you have to do for love!

Love this author's work. The characters are real and the situations plausible. When Ben Kaiser glimpses a woman across the room, instant chemistry of attraction compels him to pursue her. Asking for a dance, which leads to red hot kisses, even before he knows her name. Oh, the moment of shock, when Ben finds out that the women is the notorious Dr Regina Logan, Sex therapist. Off course, Ben's initial reaction, to this information causes Regina heartache. They sort things out, but the difficulties are not just for two people attracted to each other.
Yes, l have enjoyed this book and recommend this series to any reader.

Dr Notoious

I would have given it all 5s but (1) the prologue was at the end of the book and (2) she is a sex therapist not a sex surrogate so what's the huge deal. Not logical but still entertaining .

Awesome book!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Dating Dr. Notorious to be better than the print version?

I have enjoyed reading the print version of this book, but the audible version really brought much more vivid images to mind!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dating Dr. Notorious?

I think Ben and Regina's dinner at the hotel where she was holding a conference was one of the most memorable moments of this book. There was the flirting and the "sex" talk and just general expectations!!

Which character – as performed by Anne Johnstonbrown – was your favorite?

Lauren--she is such a sweet person, and the narrator really was able to bring that across.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really liked the part when Regina first visited Ben's apartment as a pizza delivery person!! He was so confused at first, then he went about setting the table and getting ready to eat just like this was something they did every day!! He really likes her and seems to know his mind so much better than she did, but he didn't pressure her!!

Any additional comments?

Can't wait for more audibles of this series to be available!

laugh, love, live

What did you like best about this story?

This gives one hope about a new love after a spouse dies and hope if you have not been married in years.

What does Anne Johnstonbrown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brought the story even more alive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When he decided to step down in the family business, choosing love.

Any additional comments?

This is my favorite series and have reread many times, I know I will now listen to it often. I crochet a lot and love listening as I do that and want to read at the same time!

Great story and narration!

I enjoyed this book. The story is not the typical man meets woman, they fall in love and woman has to give up career to make their happily ever after. This IS a HEA without the "traditional" nonsense. Enjoy!

on a separate note for some reason the PROLOGUE IS after the EPILOGUE. I think this was a simple mistake. I was scared at first that maybe the whole story was a dream but I think there was a mistake instead. The beginning of the narration starts on the first chapter. Then the end chapter has the EPILOGUE and then the PROLOGUE. Anyway that is why I didn't give it a 5 🌟 because of the heart attack I had until I figured it all out.

Question.

Why is Chapter 27 a prologue of the same book. Is it missing an epilogue?
