This book was so good!

Grill is A Hitman. He knows in this world it is killed or be killed. Even though the people that Grill Takes out all by far unsympathetic characters. They beat up pregnant women, take money from unsuspecting victims and abuse children… The list goes on anon And he is good at his job. He’s never not fulfilled his part of the contract. Then one day while Grill Is walking down the street his attention is taken by woman walking dejectedly while holding her baby. He has an overwhelming need to follow her and he does before he knows it he is leaving Food and Baby gifts at her door because she is poor and can’t afford plain necessities. He even makes a couple of rookie mistakes while following her, Because Jessica distracts him that much. So when he goes to the only person he calls a friend father Culbertson And the priest tells him he’s been charged with hiring him to kill the antichrist, Grill He has no problem taking the contract. That is until he finds out Jessica and Baby Adam or the antichrist. This book was so good, I highly recommend it. It did not go the way I thought it would go it had a twist been skipping a turn and man was it good. If you like action packed I am a fish out of water Kinda sorta romance then you love this book. I really don’t know what is genre you would put it under but in my shelves it is under best book ever. As far as the narrator George Ellington goes he does an English accent in this book, but to be honest I had to go back and see who the narrator was because I was blown away that you couldn’t even tell he’s Scottish. Well I love this book I love the narrator who is the reason I got the book and why you should get this book to the story is great the narrator is great and that Makes for an excellent book!

Even A Hitman Has Choices

This was my first experience with Chris Lowry's work and I enjoyed the story very much. Although this audiobook is listed as the 5th book in the series, according to amazon "Decreed" is The Shadowboxer Files Book 6. In spite of this difference in numbering and in spite of the fact that I've never read anything else by Chris, I could follow the story and come to hope that the main protagonist, Brill Winger, makes different choices. After listening to this story, I want to go back and start the series from the beginning and I recommend it to others who enjoy this genre. George Ellington's narration was great but it did take me a few chapters to appreciate his style. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Action-packed!

This was my first Chris Lowry's book. This is the fifth book in the Brill Winger Series. The characters are well developed. The story is fast-paced, and action packed. George Ellington did a good job with the narration. #audiofreebies
