Fantastic!

I really enjoy the Dogboy Adventures and they keep getting better and better. Demon's Dare was the best yet. This series is the total package. It has everything fun. I love Mr. Horum and with him being the owner of the Magic Shop or The Curiosity Shop, I wonder what he'll do next. He's like a father to Dogboy. And Cindy. What is she hiding? I'm already ready for the next in the adventures.

I loved the setting of Demon's Dare being at the amusement park Curley World. That was loads of fun. Zeph is another interesting character and I loved when Osbert called him a Swamp Wizard. For us Dogboy fans, this had a cliffhanger with Willowood and Cindy and the Blue River.

Bill Meeks is a wonderful writer. Dogboy is so original and all the other characters are well thought out as well. Nathan Beatty does an outstanding job voicing these characters. They ALL have a very strong presence with awesome accents and unique mannerisms. All I can say is MORE...

Superhero Dogboy returns for

Bronson and his superpower are back amid the usual suspects and supportive friends. The bad guys from book one are back to create trouble. There are surprises brewing among the good guys. The backstory is part of the current events, so the reader is not left behind, but swept along. The adventures of Dogboy are good reading for all ages to enjoy and collect.
Once again, Nahtan B becomes each of the characters and enhances the writer's craft.

Awesome adventures of Dogboy

Would you listen to Demon's Dare again? Why?

Nathan doe the book justice. I would listen again just to hear him do all the different voices.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mr. Horum. I love his matter of a fact approach to his life and how he took Dogboy in.

What does Nathan Beatty bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voices, just amazing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The dream episode and the start of the Curleyworld Follies story I got a bit confused and it took a little to understand where I was and where we were going.

Any additional comments?

As for Cindy...it is time. She needs to fess up to Dogboy that she too has a power. I am glad that both Bronson and Mr. Horum are suspecting something is up.

I am not sure where I stand with the gruesome stuff yet, but than again, I am a girl and not a 10 year old boy who probably thinks this is the coolest stuff ever.

I am looking forward to read/listen to your next book to see what Bronson will decide and how this team of super hero kids are going to tackle the Mayor.

Dogboy adventure

Any additional comments?

The third installment in the Adventures of Dogboy. The big action piece this time around is my favorite of the series and I just flat out enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It's as if the author knew I had a soft spot for abandoned, possibly haunted amusement parks. Very entertaining audio.
