About this listen

The complete series in a single offering!

In the not too distant future, dinosaurs rule the world.

Alan is deposited in a grassy field with all signs of humanity replaced. A few hundred of his peers are given a loincloth, spear, a few tools, and a mission: to integrate and survive... if they're not eaten first.

The story was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the writing style and the level of description which allowed good visual imagination! Story itself is well paced and fun. I read it as the omnibus, and it blended well together.

The vocal acting was strong, especially the female reader.

This was my first harem novel, but it didn’t feel too over the top at all. The story was heavily in focus with the harem aspect simply adding some once-in-a-while change of pace.

Highly recommended!

Lots of fun and good “light” harem

I love a great dinosaur survival story and this epic did not disappoint. I turned the listening with anticipation, found myself in a thriller at times, laughed at others, and the entire time the narrating cast was on point. Give it a go!

I have absolutely no complaints about this audio book. The narration is almost perfect. This series makes quality use of differing conflict types. The story wasn't always predictable; yet avoided convolution. The ending is solid. On a separate note: there is some sexuality conflicts, but don't go super woke in my opinion.

Slaps file: "This here is quality stuff."

Amazing

I do believe some of the mistakes are from mostly the first one. The second book barely had any and third had none that I noticed. The first is not surprising and honestly though I didn't mind. Pacing was a bit off and perhaps a bit more detail would've helped it

I loved it. I'd love more dinosaur books Marcus did great. I do wish for more. Dino books that are good are rare

This was definitely a new take for me. I like how this story was completely different from most of the other stories written by the author. Don’t get me wrong, I’m from the south and I enjoy a good southern accent as much as the next . But the woman voice actor in this book was horrendous. I disliked it from chapter 1. Also, the ending of this book was so rushed. They could’ve been another books explaining all 10 factions of supporters that were gained after gaining their ships. Anyways, I digress. 3.8/5

this was pretty good, a lot more dinosaur than dinosaur war lord. I really liked all the characters and interactions. if this is where it ends you'll be ok, if it keeps going you'll be happy

not bad at all

Overall I couldn’t bring myself to finish the story, stopping about 12 hours in. It seemed like a cool idea at first, but the prose was pretty bad (specifically everything comes in threes [i.e., you are handsome, clever, and wise] and the MC sounds too arrogant). The female voice actor wasn’t mixed well and it came out disjointed on most of her lines. I also didn’t like how the women were represented in general—the author made a point to talk about their value aside from reproductive value, but then had them being more or less assigned to men by the MC. Additionally, the timelines didn’t make sense with the pregnancies.

Awful

The narration was good; book concept was interesting; but it felt like dinosaur warlord with mental bonds with the Dino’s. A number of errors in the book that get changed from book 1 to book 2 and 3 happen but by the time you get to the end you do not notice it.

I would hope Marcus would just write a continuation to Dinosaur Warlord instead of adding another variation to the same type story.

Dinosaur Bond??

This story kept me listening and was really good overall, but the over arcing story about the aliens and their enemies, along with the idea there would be wars defending earth was just not there. Felt like half the story is missing.

Great but missing so much
