About this listen

Three Volumes in a single offering!

A regional curse, a land in need of a hero, and single dungeon mage willing to risk it all to save the day.

Dark forces are gathering on John’s horizon, and they want nothing more than to end his life before he becomes unstoppable. John possesses the flux magic of a Dungeon Lord, capable of altering, shaping, and building dungeons. In addition, he has mana magic, making him unique, potentially powerful, and a grave threat to stopping the curse. Of course, this puts a lot of pressure on John, but he's not alone. Ellie, a talented sorceress with exquisite flare, joins John in his valiant cause.

As the team grows, will they be able to save Asantia.

Performance was stellar. My issue, as I'm finding the usual for Jack, the ending feels so overly rushed and dissatisfying. Things brought up in book one that aren't taken care of until 30 minutes to the end in a glossed over fashion. I felt legitimately angry when there was an hour and a half to go and all action and development stopped for another sex scene.

All of the above aside, they really are good books I enjoyed listening to. The performance was fantastic. I feel the story could have comfortably pushed to four books and it would have felt much more satisfying.

Frustrating ending

I really enjoyed these books. As a gamer I was drawn in by the story concept and was not disappointed.

Though I wish there were more books in this series, I feel the pace and length were great and didn't leave any slow spots.

Funny as hell too. Morlock had me rolling. The VO is well done by both narrators, especially with a wide range of characters. It's easy to hear the difference between each character.

A funny and sexy adventure

Love every moment of it! I wish that he came out with another book. FoSho! The Best of The Best!

Funny as Heck!

This series is firmly at the top of the most enjoyable I have listened to. The narrators set the bar for everyone else regarding passion and depth for each character. The only thing holding this series back is how the third book rushed everything. The pacing for the first two books was perfect, making it seem like a five-book series. Once we hit the third book it was like the authors wanted to be done/move on to other series. At the end of the last book I genuinely sat there like "Oh, I guess that was the end". Still well worth a listen with the awesome characters and narration but could have been something special.

CHOAS ATTACK!

The story was engaging. Funny. Well written, until the end. The end of the story felt rushed. All this build up over three books and the ending was rushed. Several character endings were built up just to be entirely different than the story had been leading.

Disappointed ending.

I enjoyed this story. So much so that I was compelled to write a review. I liked how the mc wasn’t perfect and that made him super relatable. He made mistakes and had worries. He also had to work on getting the things he wanted instead of them coming to him easily. Not all the companions were perfect cookie cutter models either. Very nice.

Very enjoyable

Chaos Attack!!!
I have to say that the story has a bit much of the character sheet and updates then was good to have but the story was great. The voice choice for main female character was harsh, but got the point across. Loved the sidekick and he was the most powerful of them all. Would love to have more on the world and the system used as would love to run an RPG in it. I have most of what Marcus has on Audible and about to start the maid one. Thank you for another great time.

Loved it more then most.

Murloc the mimic is the best character of the story by far, so chaotic and hilarious.

Great characters

The MC gets put in a dungeon as a dungeon core master and he builds up his power by "bonding" with females that are at a specific level of loyalty to him. (If only we could have a tangible measurement in the real world.)
This is a great series. Great writing and narration.
I think I would personally go postal if I had to deal with the amount of female crazy our MC has to deal with, but it makes for a fun read.
Lots of fun.
I'm giving this omnibus 8 out of 5 stars.
