Publisher's summary

Former federal prosecutor Allison Leotta’s debut legal thriller Law of Attraction earned her a starred review from Library Journal and glowing comparisons to John Grisham.

In Discretion, a young woman falls to her death from the balcony of the U.S. Capitol. When Assistant U.S. Attorney Anna Curtis teams up with FBI Special Agent Samantha Randazzo to investigate, they discover a sinister trail that leads from the city’s highest-priced escort service to its most powerful officials.

Good Legal Drama with too much graphic violence

I enjoyed almost everything about this book except the occasional graphic descriptions of violence. I will likely listen to more by this author as long as I can fast forward through any blood and guts. I understand why violence is part of the storyline but I really don't need the endless details of suffering when the book's real draw is the legal situations and the leading character.
