All three women are left trying to rebuild their lives in the wake of shocking realizations that leave them second-guessing everything about themselves and each other. Not your typical romance novel

This book is well written. The characters are well developed. The story flows the way a story should, though often times in ways that are far less than comfortable. Infidelity is always a charged issue. Cheaters are rarely portrayed as complex, conflicted or, dare I say it, caring. Victims are rarely portrayed as having issues that might have led them to becoming the victim in this particular circumstance. Know that there is no victim bashing in this book and that the blame still falls on the shoulders of the "cheater" but this book opens the view box a little wider to see a clearer picture of how things like this happen. It also shows how things can heal...one character working on healing in a realistic way, the other two on the path that romance novels lead you on.

This was so surprisingly good

Great character development, story was written so well that I fully bought into the unlikely match. I'm so glad that we got to see the antagonist through her journey too.

not your typical lesbian romance

This book left me very unsettled. it was not your typical Rachel Spangler romance. I found the story line to be dark and depressing.
