About this listen

Turn on the charm

According to some (including himself), Constantine is one of the greatest heroes of dragonkin who ever lived. Too bad he's now lonelier than ever, and his biggest adventure involves a blow-up sheep - until he has an opportunity to save his kind once again. All Constantine has to do is break into a demon's dungeon, steal an ancient artifact, and reverse a deadly curse. The plan certainly does not involve rescuing a woman....

Turn up the heat

Bee isn't sure whether to be infuriated or relieved when Constantine pops up in her prison. The broody, brawny shifter lights her fire in a way no one ever has before, yet how far can she really trust him? Their chemistry may be off the charts, but when push comes to shove, Constantine will have to make a crucial choice: to save the dragons or the woman he's grown to love with fierce intensity.

pretty good book didnt like narrators

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

my disappointment was not at the storyline but at the narrator. its like you watch a series for a certain amount of time and for whatever reason they replace the same character with anothr person. the show is not the same. i couldnt get use to the new narrator especialy the demon dog voice.. its petty but i did like the narrator(s) from the earlier series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

my favorite character for most of her dragon books was the demon dog. his sarcastic honesty was really funny.

Could you see Dragon Storm being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

no. i think making it a tv seres or movie would probably ruin it. i am not sure if the special efffects would make the characters be realistic. i would hate the storyline to be watered down to fit into something that would make it marketable to readers that are not fans of the author.

Should be Barbara Rosenblatt

Really enjoy Katie Macalister books but I prefered Barbara Rosenblatt's narration. Tavia Gilbert is ok but sometimes she makes the female characters a bit too frantic and too breathy at other times.

Inconsistent pronunciation of previous narrated books in this series

I miss Barbara Rosenblat! A suggestion for narrators taking on previously narrated series, listen to the previous books how the personalities are portrayed and the pronunciations of the names of pertinent parts of the story.

Great story

Who ever would have thought that an embodied dragon ghost would be the romantic leading male alongside a human charmer who just happens to be a wyvern’s mate. Throw in the son of a demon lord and grandson of the first dragon as well as 3 siblings who were inexorably intertwined with dragons and you have an amazing idea

Where's Barbara Rosenblatt when we need her?

Once again Katie MacAlister comes through with a thoroughly enjoyable book. The Dragon series will keep you entertained as well as wanting more when it's done. i'm just completely bummed that the awesome Barbara Rosenblatt did not narrate this book. She created the voices of Aisling, Drake, Constantine, and all the other beloved characters - especially Jim. It's just sad that this entertaining book was read by someone that obviously never listened to the previous books so doesn't know how to correctly pronounce the Katie words.

Gotta love a good dragon story

If you could sum up Dragon Storm in three words, what would they be?

Action packed with love and laughs. Who knew Constantine had depths? Who knew he could be hot? Well he's both in this story. Bee, the charmer in more ways than one, is funny. Somewhat of a cliffhanger at the end, but hey...next great story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bee or Gary - hard call

Which scene was your favorite?

Gary, toy robot truck, hamster ball, & brothel...

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No..too long

so boring. I wish I could return the book.

The voice acting was so bad which is sad because I like Tavia Gilbert. I just found the story so boring as well and my mind keep drifting off.

Drag out the tired.

Themes are repeated that reduce women to foot stamping damsels. The writing has not evolved.
