About this listen

In a city where the supernatural dances with the mundane, a dragon's justice burns brighter than dragon fire. Beelzebub, the Prince of Hell's audacity to wreak havoc in Zach's turf—and bring the FBI's fury down on the dragon king—will not be forgotten. It's time for payback.

It isn't just for Beelzebub, but for Sabrina as well. The succubus is losing herself and needs an infusion from more powerful demons if she's to remain the woman Zach knows.

But Hell, as it happens, is no simple battlefield. It's a treacherous labyrinth where every corner seethes with the politics of demon princes. In their ruthless games, they see Zach not as a foe to be feared, but as a pawn to be maneuvered.

Yet, within this intricate web of deception and power, Ikta dances to her own tune. With her whimsical flair for chaos, she's there to flip the board and turn the game on its head.

Brace yourselves for a tale that plunges you into the heart of a dragon's fury and the labyrinthine depths of Hell's intrigues. Because when you play with fire, even a dragon can get burnt.

Another good book

The only issue is that I see is that with him getting so powerful it’s getting less and less likely that somebody’s going to actually be strong enough to challenge him

Fantastic!!

Yet another great book in this series loved it and can't wait for the next one. This series is one of my favorites from Bruce Sentar. Im both excited and sad because the end is near. The narration was fantastic yet again from this pair. Jessica Threet is amazing and my absolute favorite narrator. Also hilarious when the dragon king got stuck in the mother in law knitting circle 🤣 A husband's nightmare.

I recommended the series to anybody reading this review

I absolutely adored book 1. as I move through this series it changed from what I thought I was getting into. I didn't exactly like the changes, but I already spent so much time with the characters that I wanted to see the ending. now that we're rolling into that ending I can say that my opinion has changed again. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that the gentleman author can nail the dismount. lastly I want to say Well done to the narration team for the Fantastic performance.

solid

I've enjoyed this series. As far as improvement from previous installments: Less of the super cringey "mine" comments that are super irritating, though still a couple. Also, the mc came off as more intelligent and generally competent.

I still wish the mc would have less dialogue while the partners would have more during sexy times. It feels unbalanced, objectively speaking. From my perspective, too much dude voice during sexy time just really takes me out of the moment and makes me cringe, but I understand a story can't be written for only 1 personality. Just tweaking the balance would be a noticeable improvement, I believe.

a previous afterword has me confused.

a previous afterward had 8 pegged as "the end" but 8 builds a lot of anticipation and leaves the end of this way too open, with too many loose ends. I think you might want to correct that in a future, we'll if there is a future 9. so I'm quite confused and unsatisfied. because of the confusion, any pacing is hard to judge as either good or bad.

the narrators did great. I do like how vividly you write, and overall I do like this story.

Meh

Nothing wrong with the story it’s just not a lot REALLY happened. There was bad pacing as well. Additionally as it was bound to happen, there were so many in the harem they many got pushed to the background. A few mates were only mentioned by name once throughout the whole book.

Bottleneck

Even titans have to be warry of tiny predators. The thing is, where does all that power go when even the strongest begin to feel the end approaching?
