About this listen

Adventurers aren't born in a day. They're forged in the trials of the Mage Tower.

I never got used to my father’s oppressive rule in the Underworld. That’s why I decided to escape my fate as the future Demon Lord and reincarnate into the realm of Ria.

My plan? As Luc Vale, the mortal mage, I’ll live out a real life and become an adventurer.

But first, I must master this world’s new magic at the Tower Guild Academy. After forming a party with a gorgeous and clumsy woman, I learned that being human is nothing like I imagined.

Not only is my new, smelly body weaker than I’m used to, I’ve also discovered the distractions of carnal pleasure. All is going according to plan, until a danger emerges that threatens all of Ria. I should be strong enough to vanquish the Tower’s dark secret. As long as no one discovers who I truly am....

If you like light-hearted romance, quirky humor, and a dash of adventure, this story is for you.

Great for anime weebs who enjoy shows like How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord.

(Contains unconventional relationships and adult situations).

pretty good though

the book wasn't as good as some as others but it was still worth a listen to. for me it was odd having a narrator as a female when the main characters are male so that kind of threw me off a little bit but she did pretty good

great

Honestly I wasn't expecting to love this story as much as I do. I'm hooked, the story is very well written, Mc isn't too op, girls don't all fall over for him either. it's a ton of fun to listen to with great voice acting.

Fantastic

This was such an extraordinary mix of action adventure and slice of life. The character development is amazing and the performance by Erin Bateman was incredible. 6 stars!

mah

Son of satan runs away to become a white night and learns two spells. Every time you think it's about to get spicy something happens to stop it. The writer really loves collar bones a lot. Besides that it kinda good. 41 chapters in is when things start to actually get good. Doesn’t feel like there is any story or character progression everyday is like the first and all the mc needs to do to be the most powerful this on this world is learn more than two spells. He learned them on day one in within a couple hours but weeks latter just cant seem to find the time. The love interest also spend time with each other 24-7 but never have time a lone but they are alone most of the time. It's pretty frustrated. Normally books make the mc super uncomfortable around girls. This ones tries to make him seem normal to hells standards and say human girls are weird because they are not blunt and straight forward as demon girls. So she is the super shy one. Cute at first but gets old real fast after about the 5th joke.

Harem

Liked the character development at first, but became tedious and too much. Put it down several times before I could finish. Wanted to like it more. Worth a single credit for the three books, but not worth additional investment in time or money.
