Publisher's summary

An intoxicating and sparkling new romance by New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Guillory.

Margot Noble needs some relief from the stress of running the family winery with her brother. Enter Luke: sexy, charming, and best of all in the too-small world of Napa, a stranger. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and Margot is delighted that she lucked into the perfect one-night stand she’ll never have to see again. That is, until the winery’s newest hire, Luke, walks in the next morning. Margot is determined to keep things purely professional, but when their every interaction reminds her of the attraction still bubbling between them, it proves to be much more challenging than she expects.

Luke Williams had it all, but when he quits his high-salary tech job in Silicon Valley in a blaze of burnout and moves back to Napa to help a friend, he realizes he doesn’t want to tell the world—or his mom—why he’s now working at a winery. His mom loves bragging about her successful son—how can he admit that the job she’s so proud of broke him? Luke has no idea what is next for him, but one thing is certain: he wants more from the incredibly smart and sexy woman he hooked up with—even after he learns she’s his new boss. But even if they can find a way to be together that wouldn’t be an ethical nightmare, would such a successful woman really want a tech-world dropout?

Set against a lush backdrop of Napa Valley wine country, nothing goes to your head as fast as a taste of love—even if it means changing all your plans.

Drunk on Book

Easy read with no content, fun and care free! The narrators were bland.

I would recommend the book.

Redundant

I generally enjoy Jasmine Guillory, but this book was not good. The same story line repeated the entire book, nothing new… redundant.

Typical love story

I hate to give a bad review but this book lacked drama. It was a love story with regular ups and downs. I liked the winery aspect but maybe a twist with Elliott or Sydney would have made it better.

It was the voices

I usually fall head over heels for a Jasmine Guilllory book but the voices on this one weren’t warm and inviting. It was hard to connect to the story. I usually finish her books in 2 days I forgot about it for 2 weeks. I wanted to love it. I feel like I would with different voices.

Wrong female voice.

The female reader took majority of the book to find the write tone and cadence.

Perfect cozy story

Sweet story, enjoyable characters, with a mixture of very real complicated family dynamics. I love it!

story dragged and lacked depth

Struggled to ever fall into any of the characters. Didn't understand any of the layers that helped them tick. Not enough of a storyline about the main character & her bother Elliot. who are their parents what is their story behind taking over their Uncles winery? Not enough of a story to connect us to the storyline.

Not my Fav

Story line was just okay and the narration left much to be desired. As a huge fan this fell short on my list.

Loved it!

Margot and Luke, couldn’t get enough. Their fast and sure love story flows. They just have to find a way to get their careers to fit before it wrecks them. Won’t ruin it. Read yourself to find out if and how they do. Well written. Good reading.
