About this listen

Ryker only had one goal in his life right now: turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people.

It didn’t work out that way though.

At all.

He’d died, been forced into the body of an avatar, absconded with the queen as her castle fell to betrayal, kidnapped a little kid who is obviously more than he seems, and to top all that off, he killed his undead father.

The smoldering ruins of the queendom have cooled, the patterns reset, and Ryker has a task that is more than likely too much for him.

Take the queendom back, destroy two armies, and give Lauren, the rightful queen, back her crown.

Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, and a hero who is as tactful as a dog at a cat show. Listen at your own risk.

Fun conclusion

Sad to see this series end but it was another great entry in the universe. Excited to see how these characters blend in to future series.

What... just... WHAT!?!

A fantastic end to this series, gave a ton of information as to what's happening in the other worlds of the sovreign-verse, but what actually just happened!?! So many more questions!

Awesome

With this combo of author and narrator, it is unlikely to feel like your time has been wasted. This book is no exception. There is one part that was especially unpleasant for me, but it fit with the story. Look forward to finding out where the overarching story goes!

Checking out the rest of the Sovereign-verse now

What is a LitRPG novel if the main character doesn't become a god at the end of the series?

Or.. a demi-god in this case.

Really though, the last volume of the Dungeon Deposed series was pretty entertaining. A lot of that I didn't enjoy from the first volume had passed, such as Ryker's anger issues (well… he's handling it better at least), making the journey a lot more interesting.

The triology also got its place in the Sovereign-verse timeline (a series of smaller series from Arand and Randi Darren) reaffirmed, which got me interested in that universe too.

There isn't anything I really disliked with this book, it was just a good continuation from the other two, and you probably wouldn't (and shouldn't) read this if you haven't read the rest in the triology, or disliked them, because this still follows in the same vein as the rest.

Overall, this books deserves an 8/10 do me.
