Easy prey

They just get better. Some of the other reviews had me worried. They said to many potential suspects to twisted. I started to not buy this book, I almost skipped over it. I'm sure glad I didn't. Yes there are a lot of suspects and yes it takes a lot of twist and turns but isn't that what a good book is to do? You'll get your money's worth with this one. Enjoy

It was okay, and wow 3 women

He really makes Lucas Davenport out to be the woman's man in this book. It hasn't been like that since the beginning. This plot is not very memorable I've read several of these books and had to rack my brains to remember what this one was about to review it. At least Weather comes back into the storyline if that's important to you.

Great story

The story flows… keeps surprising … and one of the best endings ever…. Just kind of sneaks up on you….

ANOTHER GEM FROM JOHN SANDFORD

Where does Easy Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

All John Sandford's book are at the top. Easy Prey if up there with them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucas Davenport is one of the most interesting characters in fiction. A man's man who wouldn't mind a little love and tenderness.

What about Richard Ferrone’s performance did you like?

Richard Ferrone is spot on as Lucas Davenport.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved this book. There's never a dull moment in John Sandford's books.

The personal banter, humor, and details of the surroundings

I like the relationship between the characters and the humor. The personal details put you in the story.
if your from a rough crowd you probably identify with the coarse sexual language and profanity but I could see where those that might otherwise enjoy the story and humor could be put off by it.

Lots of policing, and women

Good story about how detectives operate. However, Lucas' problem with women is all on him.
