The first book was better! This one is just ok!

Ray Porter's narration was excellent, however, the story in this second book of the series just ok! I enjoyed the first book much more!

Emerald Buddha

Great story, kind of odd characters made for fun, lots of violence of course, no one seems to get their shots first tho...lol...

poor drake

Drake lost all of his testosterone after he got rich And turned into a whiny wuss. how depressing. thankfully Spencer is there or the book would be another day at a grateful dead music festival.

Ray Porter never disappoints, we are truly blessed to have him .

Disappointing encore

I was so pleased with the first book Ramseys Gold. But this second book took an intrepid adventurer and turned him into a winding worry wart that didn’t demonstrate any of the cleverness that the character showed in the first book. Maybe I had to high hopes for this book number two, but the character development that I had so enjoyed before fell flat.
There’s one more book in the series and I’m going to give it a try because of how much I enjoyed Ramses Gold, I hope I’m not disappointed.

Dull

Compared to the first book, this one is lacking. It was formulaic and boring. I was disappointed. story was just ok, but it was by no means a "page turner".

Good adventure!

Unbelievable of course but I enjoy adventure books and treasure hunting. Similar to Dirk Pitt type novels.
