About this listen

Marcus Hamilton Thanos is marked for death, and Jack Noble is the man for the job. But when the high-profile target vanishes the day of the assassination attempt, Jack is forced to team up with a female FBI agent who was poised to learn Thanos' secret that morning.

Together, they are plunged into a frantic race across state lines and international borders in order to solve the mystery, all the while unsure of who they can trust. What they discover is that the truth is more chilling and deceptive than either of them could have imagined.

Performance

This is the 12th book in the series- and the voice performance for characters that have been present since book one should be consistent. This is the first book where the voices did not match. Continuity would be nice and less distracting

First rate espionage thriller

Although END GAME is Book 12 in L. T. Ryan's Jack Noble series in the series timeline it is between Books 3 and 4 (before Bear had daddy responsibilities). End Game is an excellent addition to the Jack Noble series. As usual, Dennis Holland's narration is stellar.

Good storie

Although I am not A Big fan of books where the timeline is in between earlier books. It is confusing because you can’t remember who he new and what he had been through at the time.
Narration is good though.

Not the end

This story has nothing to do with book 11, some key players voices are different, but still a good listen. It should be reclassified to reflect its proper place in the timeline.

Poor narration..

Okay, this was a pretty good story, except for some of the people who died. I mean, really, why does an author EVER let you get to know someone, and really like them, and then kill them off. Anyway, that's one reason I'm done with the Jack Noble series. The other is having it written in the first person. I've read other books written in the first person but L.T. Ryan uses "I" a lot more than others do. The word "I" had to have been used a thousand times in this story. Plus, it's really annoying when it's-all-about the main character and NO ONE else. A lazy way to write a story in my opinion.

Fade to black sex and the F-bomb was used 7 times.

As to the narration: Dennis Holland has a nice voice but he doesn't do very good. His voice is never any different, same tone all the time. There were soooo many times he should have whispered and didn't. That made to book stupid.
