Publisher's summary

In this fun, sexy college romance, a transfer student finds herself living in a house full of football players—and falling for the one she knows she shouldn’t want.

Everleigh

Transferring to UC Santa Mira is supposed to be my ultimate college experience—until housing falls through at the last minute. So when I overhear a group of guys complaining they need another roommate, I jump at the opportunity.

They’re just football players. Even if one of them makes me weak in the knees, it doesn’t mean anything unless I let it. And I won’t.

We want different things. Wanting each other doesn’t change that.

Nico

It’s my senior year and final season with the Santa Mira Dolphins. The last thing I need is a distraction, but that’s exactly what this girl is. Ever is too leggy, too gorgeous, too thoughtful—and a whole lot of too much that gets under my skin.

I guess I get under hers too. I can’t help myself.

We live together. That alone makes it a bad idea…but I never could resist a little trouble.

ALL THE FEELS!

Wow! What a start to a new series!!! I absolutely LOVED Nico and Everly. The push and pull was down right addicting! Nico’s approach of no not me but then he’d go all alpha on the guys and Ev really had me cracking up. The way the guys stepped up to help a girl out really had me SWOONING. I can’t wait for their stories.

Roommates with the College football team

When Everleigh gets a text saying her room was already rented out. When she over hears a couple guys talking, at a local coffee shop, stating they need a new roomie, she jumps for the chance. She corners them and states she will cook for them 3 times a week as well as rent. These 3 guys end up being part do the college football team and all they really think about other than the game is eating, so they agree.

Everleigh is trying to find herself and be successful. Nico is one of her roommates and he’s a total player but that changes once he gets to know Everleigh. She really brings the best out of the guys.

I loved the central coast details in this story. Felt like I would really imagine this storyline due to it. I also love the yoga sessions.

Everleigh and Nico’s Road to HEA

Sports 🏈
College
Roommates
Grumpy sunshine

Everleigh wanted to leave her small town and explore college life. She left with the bare minimum. Her first experience was less than stellar after losing her place to live. Being in the right place at the right time lands her in a house with 3 gorgeous football players. One in particular, catches her eye, Nico.

At UCSM- football is everything. The players need security guards. They are treated like kings. Nico takes full advantage.
He is very confident in his abilities on and off the field. He knows he is handsome and het knows he is a great football player. As a senior, he wants to focus more so that he can play well enough to get drafted into the NFL. No distractions. Everleigh is a distraction.

He tries to fight his feelings and so does she. We all know how that goes. This is a highly entertaining story with great characters. The 4 roommates work well together in the story. They added humor and a sense of community. They’d friendship was encouraging. The other characters outside of the roommates were great too.

Great start to the series!

Good characters

I liked the characters a lot. I’m curious to know what happens with the other characters in the coming books—perhaps enough to read them.
I was disappointed by the underwhelming amount of steam though and that ‼️(spoiler alert!!) ‼️ they don’t end up…..well, doin it until the very end, basically. It just ended up feeling a bit anticlimactic for me.

Loved Nico and Ever’s Story

Absolutely loved this one. The narrators did an awesome job. Even had to let Monica know how impressed I was before I made it half way through. Great story and I can’t wait to see which of the guys falls hard next.

This story is pure touchdown

Book 1 seriously can’t wait for book 2. Wonder who the main characters will be

This audio had me from the start loved Everleigh character, loved how she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Until she overheards a conversation in a coffee shop between college football players, that will solve Everleigh problems and the football players. Nico one of the football players catches her eye and she catches his eye . Everleigh Approches them outside of the house they rent and tells them her idea . Nico is the only one giving her a hard time , not Coop or Dollar. Nico seems to fight his attraction for Everleigh. And Everleigh her attraction for Nico

Does Everleigh convince them , does her idea benefit them all.

Love how Stephanie Rose did all the female characters and J.D. Harris did all the male parts. Love how their voices brought you into the story

Average sports Romance

2.5 - But rounding up.

Listened to this on audio while cleaning and that's probably the only reason I didn't DNF it.
It's your average college sports, he's a player, she only does relationships/good girl, and they are thrust together by some circumstance...very cookie cutter romance.
And Nico’s voice was not gruff enough for me.

But it that's your thing then you might like it. Maybe the rest of the series will be better.
