About this listen

In this fun, sexy college romance, a transfer student finds herself living in a house full of football players—and falling for the one she knows she shouldn’t want.

Everleigh

Transferring to UC Santa Mira is supposed to be my ultimate college experience—until housing falls through at the last minute. So when I overhear a group of guys complaining they need another roommate, I jump at the opportunity.

They’re just football players. Even if one of them makes me weak in the knees, it doesn’t mean anything unless I let it. And I won’t.

We want different things. Wanting each other doesn’t change that.

Nico

It’s my senior year and final season with the Santa Mira Dolphins. The last thing I need is a distraction, but that’s exactly what this girl is. Ever is too leggy, too gorgeous, too thoughtful—and a whole lot of too much that gets under my skin.

I guess I get under hers too. I can’t help myself.

We live together. That alone makes it a bad idea…but I never could resist a little trouble.

End Game is the first book in the Kings of Campus series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Everleigh was a little shy, considering she didn’t know anyone on campus, and she’d just moved into a house of football players. But the guys quickly took to her, as friends…except for Nico. There was something between them that they both tried to deny.

Ever and Nico were so good together! They had great banter, and they actually became friends before falling for each other. And I loved how she didn’t just let his charm or flirting get to her; he had to work to get a chance.

The found family with his teammates was great as well. And I’m so curious about them, so I can’t wait for their stories.

Audiobook notes:
Narrated by: Stephanie Rose and J.D. Harris
Narration Style: Dual

JD Harris’s female voice for side characters was not that good.

Wow! What a start to a new series!!! I absolutely LOVED Nico and Everly. The push and pull was down right addicting! Nico’s approach of no not me but then he’d go all alpha on the guys and Ev really had me cracking up. The way the guys stepped up to help a girl out really had me SWOONING. I can’t wait for their stories.

ALL THE FEELS!

This had so much potential but ended up flat for me. I will be back for Gavin and Sienna's book, though.

Grumpy sunshine

Everleigh wanted to leave her small town and explore college life. She left with the bare minimum. Her first experience was less than stellar after losing her place to live. Being in the right place at the right time lands her in a house with 3 gorgeous football players. One in particular, catches her eye, Nico.

At UCSM- football is everything. The players need security guards. They are treated like kings. Nico takes full advantage.
He is very confident in his abilities on and off the field. He knows he is handsome and het knows he is a great football player. As a senior, he wants to focus more so that he can play well enough to get drafted into the NFL. No distractions. Everleigh is a distraction.

He tries to fight his feelings and so does she. We all know how that goes. This is a highly entertaining story with great characters. The 4 roommates work well together in the story. They added humor and a sense of community. They’d friendship was encouraging. The other characters outside of the roommates were great too.

Great start to the series!

I liked the characters a lot. I’m curious to know what happens with the other characters in the coming books—perhaps enough to read them.
I was disappointed by the underwhelming amount of steam though and that ‼️(spoiler alert!!) ‼️ they don’t end up…..well, doin it until the very end, basically. It just ended up feeling a bit anticlimactic for me.

This was a great book, Nico and Everleigh were so cute together. Ever is new to this college and finds herself homeless and overhears a group of guys mention they need a roommate. Nico has commitment issues, especially since the first time he tried for more, the girl was not a good fit. Loved this book and recommend this book
